I highly, highly recommend '03, as it's the closest to the comics.

First of all, I’m glad we finally learned Syls exact spren type (honorspren), and can actually confirm she’s behind Kaladin’s new abilities (which was obv anyway; but still nice to have told). Kaladin’s decision to go back for Dalinar has to be his most noble moment yet, especially considering they were so close to freedom and he doesn’t care for all light eyes (which for me furthers his keen judgment of character). As for the actual battle, I thought the whole thing was intense af. Loved seeing Kaladin take command over some of Dalinar’s soldiers, and the way he’s honed his new skills in battle with practically ease, as well as seeing him take down yet another shardbearer was insane. What made this rescue op so satisfying for me, was just getting to see Kaladin embody all his growth, skills, leadership, rage to the point of an actual explosion for his character. As for Dalinar, I was a little nervous of how the conversation would’ve gone between Sadeas and him, but I thought it went pretty well. I’m glad Sadeas was honest about what he did snd why he did it, much to Dalinar’s dissatisfaction. But what made me uneasy was def seeing Dalinar trade His shardblade, just felt a little drastic and I have mixed feelings about it (maybe he plans to reclaim it later?). But on the flip side ofc I’m glad he kept his promise to Kaladin. And last but not least, we have Elhokar, the little brat who apparently cut his own straps. I love this scene cause Dalinar is showing a more fed up side to him. We always heard stories about the kind of person Dalinar was, so this is the first time I feel he’s asserting himself in that way to Elhokar, and to just outright tell him to name him Highprice of War was great. I think it’s fair to say that this has changed Dalinar, and his honor code might be more of an imposition from now on ||
