Casino Royale established all of that when he was just beginning as an agent but it was such a great beginning because it carried all the thematic weight into the spy Bond became

The friendship was super genuine and had it's fair share of sad moments like Olivia, Oscar, Monse's mom and Abuelita... I like how the series ended with them all being childlike like in the first episode ||
