Green Knight || i just didn't feel the movie, great production and visual as expected from A24 studio, but the main protagonist journey didnt moved me, it seems that the thing he experienced thought his path weren't as impactful as i thought it will be, also the story as a whole sounds very unoriginal and immature/greenish (no pun intended) to me.
though i could see the deeper messages the movie tried to show us, many didn't pick it up at all,
i noticed the concept of men vs nature and how humanity destroying it.

once the main character lives the his home for the first time you could see people cutting off trees.

the bandit he saw on the road tell the main character that his dead brothers will be consumed by the land so there is no need to burry them and so much more

Green Knight ||i got the concept of the 5 virtues of a knight and how the main protagonist got none of it, and it been shown throughout the fiim from the get go, still i wasn't impacted nor i cared about the protagonist growth, also there is another layer to the movie, humanity vs nature, as you can see it when people cut off trees once the protagonist left his home, the gigantic human-like creature walking together as sheeps while destroying everything in their path, also mimicking the sound of the wolf, like they have low level of consciousness.
also in the castle, the one before the green church, the lady mentioned the color red vs green, and corrected the main protagonist when he said that the green knight is not from this earth since he is green, and she replied to him how green is from this earth and gave many examples of when the green presents itself in this world and how red, the color of passion is the one who destroying everything||

WoK 28 || finally at the second interlude and I thought part 2 was really good. I like Dalinar and Adolin’s relationship, though they bump heads, they clearly have a lot love and hold each other to high regards. I definitely respect Dalinar’s decision to step down in favor of Adolin, it just doesn’t seem like he’s fitting in with the other high princes and guys at the war camps anymore. I think a smart move would be to join Jasnah on her research. I feel with his visions and her discoveries they can really start putting pieces together. And their little spanreed conversation was adorable ||

I really agree with him here, the experiences of the author subliminally influence the work, and even when the author tries to pull smth out of their experiences to integrate into their work, some very personal elements still seep into the work unknowingly, and when those elements overlap with the experiences of the consumer/critic they will create vast connections and interpretations beyond what the author didnt had intend. that's why we get different perspectives out of the same material.

Although it's quite difficult, i try to look for these intended - and especially the non intended - ideas and experiences that influence the product. i feel like they add an extra layer of depth and enjoyment to my experience and help connect at a more personal level with the author.

Warbreaker 20 ||Fucking hell just found out the God King is mute and illiterate. That was a good twist, very good. I did guess he was some kind of figurehead, but not to this extreme an extent. Honestly, wasn't enjoying this all that much and was just trudging through trusting in Sando, but my interest has been piqued now. I also like the magic system, Sando never disappoints on that end||
