Finished Shang Chi and I thought it was absolutely amazing! Definitely one of the better Marvel movies, and the fighting choreograph was absolute God tier!.. kinda wish is they gave a little more detail on how some of the powers work, and I don't mean just the ten rings but also || the Ta Lo powers who can oppose it || ... But otherwise, very good! And I think this movie along with Eternals are setting us up to be engaged way past the current multiverse crisis... 2 post credit scenes

and I just finished reading The Way of Kings like last week, and it took me all summer to read and holy shit it's my second favourite series of all time, 1st is one piece

tbh hearing the show being compared to Adventure Time made me concerned because [Adventure Time] ||I didn't like how Adventure Time grew darker and darker. It's okay for shows to be darker, I mean I've watched Over the Garden Wall and Gravity Falls, but they did it a lot better imo. Adventure Time just gave me bad vibes. I'm glad Centaurworld isn't like that though.||

I remember another episode where ||the Lich returns disguised as Billy, and Finn had to collect the gems from the princess' crowns. When PB showed up she was experimenting with these little things, cutting them up and watching them reacting. It disturbed me.||

I think it's ||all the existential stuff|| that gets to me.

I think I can understand that

|| personally some of my favorite things are when a really whymsical show gets its dark moments when the plot calls for it ||

Buuutttt adventure time || my problem with AT wasn't that it got dark but that it's darker stuff got boring fr. The lich was always amazing for me but I think after all the lich stuff and some of the best Marci and Simon stuff it just kinda... stopped even trying to be fun? ||

I think this is more it. Adventure Time ||the dark stuff either made me uncomfortable or just wasn’t interesting. I agree the stuff with Simon and Marceline was really great, but after that…||

Centaurworld ||I didn’t mind when the dark stuff set in, I just wasn’t sure about the timing. Or something like that. I dunno.||

At the end of the day, I enjoyed it. Has a second season been announced?
