I get they want a young spiderman, but they never let him grow as hero. I saw a video essay on the flash tv show that pointed out that the flash is essentially stuck in his "year 1", the entire show, and I just realized thats exactly what the MCU's done to spiderman

Supernatural is different as at least they had a narrative vision for the first 5 seasons, and then they decided to milk it

Idk, a lot of the public views CW actors as lesser, but most of the bad stuff about CW shows are the writing not the acting

but then for the shows that dont even require that much budget aka riverdale

it still sucks
