BB ||Well now that it's over, I guess I should form my opinion on it. Overall I thought it was enjoyable, really liked Clone Force 99's relationship with Omega. I thought she was going to end up being an annoying sidekick but she definitely pulled her weight the whole series.||
||I liked how Clone Wars was episodic and it made sense cause it was just such a huge conflict. There were always things to explore by focusing on different characters/worlds and their stories. So while that was okay to me there, I was really hoping Bad Batch was more focused in narrative. It kinda dragged in the middle with all the random side quests they went on as bounty hunter work. It was still enjoyable but I hope the next season is more condensed in terms of narrative.||

it padded itself with all the expository shells which tries to explain the context but if it focused on the war and how batra became a national hero interspersed by his incredible real life romance, it wouldve been better
the life of vikram batra in real life is far more interesting than what even the movie portrayed

The context can be given to us by his interactions in the military, the film wasted one hour just adding unnecessary romance songs and B-plots, Batra's love story is far more direct and swift and it happened very quickly. Batra's identity and his personality were shaped by his love for the country and his boundless fearlessness, the film robs itself of the needed tension until like 1 hour into the movie, we didn't need that one hour to set the flashback up

I feel it did a good job attracting a more general audience (perhaps what that first hour was for). But from a biography perspective, yeah. I can't say I came out knowing who he really was other than him being a war hero.
