Mr Robot (season finale/major spoilers) || So overall I’d say the show was really good and did a good depiction of DID (I’ve learned so much about the disorder) and I haven’t got the chance to see it done this way in other series (maybe some movies that I won’t say for the sake of spoilers) so that’s cool.. in terms of the dark army conclusion, I liked the idea in syncing up the dreamworld with us thinking it had anything do with WhiteRose’s machine. It was an imaginative way to use our doubts that WhiteRose was anything more than a terrorist for misconception, as well as escalate Angela’s dillusions ( cause I was kinda afraid there would be plot holes in her not revealing such an experience).. As for the good part. The Elliot we’ve been following is only the mastermind identity created just recently (not the real Elliot), that was interesting to me. I can’t say I suspected it, but it makes sense.. questions on why Krista didn’t feel it was time to unravel any truths about his past, why he couldn’t remember Darlene was his sister, why he had no recollection of his past trauma with his dad (even though that memory sat with Mr Robot) and why his narrative thought (we) the audience was supposed to know only as much as he did, more so justified. But what I don’t understand is why Mr. Robot felt it was more important to have the mastermind think he was the real Elliot all along? Was he just doing his duties in protecting him (keeping the real Elliot in the dreamworld)? Maybe he was doing it out of the self-interest of fSociety? I’ve slightly questioned his motives throughout the series, but this actually complicates things for me. I also have tons of questions about the “real Elliot”, like why he chose then to come out in front of Darlene, etc.? But nonetheless, I thought the show was really good. ||

Nao of Brown ending ||The art on this is absolutely stellar. Holy moley. Glyn Dillon sure is amazing. The water color work really blended in well with his style. Makes me want to take up the brush again. As for the story itself, it was kind of not all that great? Felt kind of sexist at times and offensive to people with OCD. Not really sure how to put it but Nao felt like she was just there to prop up the men in the story. What is has to say about mental health is kinda laughable. Totally dismisses it as not a real problem cause it's not something physical. Kinda torn on this one. I didn't outright hate it or find it bad but it was kinda just disappointing.||

I had just read Pluto and I was really feeling it, so I went to go watch the Astro Boy arc it was based off.
