ehh
LOL that happens and I just either don’t respond or tell them to figure it out
do you tell them to look it up?
No I ignore them
its funny seeing bb fans and game of thrones fight about which one is better
some times it contain a spoiler
oh that's true
Because we have zoomers here t
The wire as well.
They like their cartoons and dresses
No mention at all
oh it has
MCNULTY
cough cough steven universe cough cough
See zoomers and cartoons
What is considered ‘cartoons and dresses?’
Invincible ?
ehh i only watched tom and jerry
There's an obvious answer to that one.
Most of what pasto watches, scarlet
Oh
nah they all good except teen wolf
fair point
fate going to the cartoons
cartoon,i watched family guy
I finished Mindhunter
Idk I expected more
eh, it's Netflix
And then invincible
Wdym spongebob
U good spongebob?
yea about to take a 2h nap
Both of those are 9/10 for me
Damn that’s a high rating
So any series I’ll watch tonight won’t live up to it
invincible got to ep 2
Because they were both so good
Rough you’re gonna get mad disappointed then
You need to get to episode 8 spongebob
||you have to keep watching to find out then don’t u|| invincible ep 2
i mean yea but that was weird
fate taking a philosophical approach
my answer is play eat watch movie and sleep
Damn got a whole schedule going
I mean we all have routines we follow in life.
My routine is pwning kids with better opinions
idc any more they all are a pain in the ass
“Pwning” is how I would describe it
Im weak
You good funk?
Never
Let me know if you need anything
Glass of waters fine
🚰
Much appreciated
🤽♂️
So is love death and robots good?
I was thinking about how unfortunate infinity train s4 was because you can tell they didnt make the season knowing CN would cut it
Also yes
It seems to be all over the place about being all over the place
But it is another piece of work of David fincher
So I want to check it out
Yeah its different stories every ep
Thats the word
Pretend I’m a bit slow
I didnt like it
Please explain anthology to me
Different stories in a single series
And that’s different from episodical which are different stories but same characters?
Its not purely comedic ofc
But scarlet has been destroying my motivation of watching anything tonight
Mostly drama
“This suck” “this also sucks” “you suck too”
Lmao
Liar I never said that
I dont think its really something you dislike. Maybe some eps
Smh twisting my words
You’ve said the first two, the third one is just coming
But theres a lot of them so youll love at least one lol
Fate you suck
I’m basically a psychic
It seems genius and chaotic, I’ll like it I’m sure
I might save it for a rainy day though
Looking for a series to binge through rn though
Ld&r is way better than black mirror
Duality of man

Hm
Anyway renew infinity train
ill donate to any kickstarter this mf needs a proper ending
Fate you gotta let me know if you end up liking them
Black Mirror has better individual episodes
San Junipero is one of the best TV episodes ever
Black mirror was great for making you think especially earlier
But ldr is its own thing i think
I rlly liked the Miley Cyrus episode
As a whole, I enjoy love death and robots more due to animation just expressing and pushing the themes more
It really does need a proper ending.
Its like... this is CNs gravity falls in terms of potential and nobody cares
I want to scream into my water
Don’t waste water
drink the water instead.
🚱
I’ll let you know
Ima watch Yasuke first
It’s 6 eps, it won’t hurt me
Ya it’s pretty short
Netflix only produces short shows now
6-8 episodes is what you will get
10 if you are lucky
That’s nice, quicker to finish and no unneeded prolonging episodes
Sometimes you’re left wanting more though
I am willing to sacrifice the episode time for the quality though
I finished invincible
really enjoyed it
yall got any recommendations like that?
have you checked out the DC animated universe?
yeap most of it
for young justice I only saw one season
not sure if the rest is good too
have you seen batman the animated series
or justice league
and justice league unlimited?
bits and pieces of it but not the whole thing
im sure other media like movies and stuff and games have already exhausted most of the story
I've played the arkham games so
yea maybe but I'm kinda tired of the justice league stuff
old justice league was ok imo
not amazing
dint finish it tho
like episodic?
Pasto waits for his victim to sleep
For animated stuff id say infinity train but im talking about it a lot
Idk what else i watch a lot
Samurai Jack
lol
PRIMAL
Youre in my head
yep
primal is a cartoon?
Yeah, by Genndy Tartakovsky
Dude behind Samurai Jack, Sym-Bionic titan, Dexter's Lab, and the old clone wars Harsh mentioned
I would suggest The Clone Wars and Rebels but they are very much kid shows and people can have a hard time getting into them, although I'll stand by them and say they're both really good.
is there something more for adults?
I never really think of those as kid shows harsh
But primal is for adults btw
Theres blood
demographics are a myth
This
I think of clone wars like atla where adults can watch it without feeling embarrassed lol
Everyone knows theyre great
anyone can watch anything without feeling embarrassed

Well western cartoons definitely arent shounen
Okay maybe you dislike shounen for different reasons than i do
Watch Batman Brave and the Bold
If you didnt grow up with cartoons i can see why youd not think they can be mature
At least when cartoons started getting really artsy
A lot of my favorite writing in general has been from cartoons
Probably still the best show on netflix

You're looking for shows specifically? Animated feature films off the table?
The mitchells vs the machines was actually surprisingly good so i think ill rec that
no just mature cartoons
Ok i am confused on what you would consider western and anime
Like made in abyss
Is considered anime but is made by Amazon
Also invincible and castlevania
Are made by Netflix and amazon
Also adaptation
western studios
invincible and castlevania are done by western studios
and are distributed by netflix and amazon
its simple
So would devilman crybaby be considered western cause it is made by Netflix
its not made by netflix tho, it was made by masaaki yuasa
it was distributed and funded by netflix
But is an Netflix only
Ok so yasuke is other series and Castlevania is Western series
Pretty sure yasuke is western too
Castlevania is western series, Yasuke I have no idea
Ok this shit is getting confusing
Usually you can just think about what japanese people mostly watch and thats os
Ok
other series also covers like Korean manwha and such
The distinction is honestly a bit silly but rules are rules.
yeah, we talk korean manwha and chinese comics there as well
Well yeah theres no korean series channel lol
you can put a suggestion in
Nah i wouldnt want that
Well if it's not a European, American or Australian property I imagine it goes in other series
i honestly dont give a shit because i just read like tower of god in terms of webtoons
You just don't get too many talking about regions outside of east Asia
I read to much webtoons
I read way too many manhwa/webtoons. The “non action” kind if you catch my drift 😎
When Timmy Turner starts trending randomly
this must be the work of fairy godparents
Breaking Bad’s Lydia and Todd and the other new characters reminds me of Death Note’s second half where Light meets new characters he’s up against but it’s not as good as previous characters and then the ending of the show is god tier
Have you finished it
Judas and the black messiah was great
lydia is a babe
Goddamn the monster hunter movie sucks
why?
Do you mean the Japanese radish monster hunter
@fluid merlin || the one where the guy pukes a radish baby|| spoiler?
i watched this one
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. With Milla Jovovich, Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman, T.I.. When Lt. Artemis and her loyal soldiers are transported to a new world, they engage in a desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers. Feature film based on the video game by Capcom.
Like in all her movies
i dont even remember
Pretty sure she also played in like vampire trilogy or quadrology
NOOOOOOOOO || REST IN PEACE TO MY MAN HANK || Breaking Bad Season 5 E14 mega spoilers
Invincible Ep3 and dc comics spoilers(?) ||I’m so fucking dumb I just realized the guardians of the globe are literally the justice league lmfao||
bruh
bruh
On the last two episodes of Breaking Bad
So sad this is gonna end. The way Walter has progressed is insane
yea walters kewl
Goat
Final episode is amazing
You plan on watching any of spinoffs
Im saving them for tomorrow
and the spin offs? longtime from now, probably when BCS ends. im watching el camino right after i finish BB
i need a break lol
cool
Have heard people love Better Call Saul even more than BB, like it’s an absolutely amazing show
It’s a different kind of show though
I think you’ll still enjoy it
I have as well. I just don’t know how I feel about Saul as a main character, but I guess I’ll see for myself one day
Invincible episode 5 ||I love titan, cool dude. ||
Invincible episode 5 || indeed ||
Saul new season out??
so
yea
give me a moment to gather my thoughts here
go ahead
i'll start with the good bits
Soul (2020) ||So, soul basically was good in a few ways- MC is pursuing his dreams, trying to figure out his goals, what he wants etc. I felt like the MC was actually pretty attractive at least at the beginning, but then they do their "pixar" shit to it||
i guess that's all i have good to say
the message is good
but (Soul) ||the majority of the movie is kiddy antics and just sort of forces that in, makes it a whole gimmick and it doesn't feel fluent||
||also he becomes a cat||
which was whack
hopefully i didn't just post this for no reason and you see it, but yea
i mean, i feel like its hard to pin "kiddy antics" and the fact that he becomes a cat as some sort of slight against the movie. for one, its pixar, the same company that released a movie of a rat becoming a chef or a kids emotions being personified, so i cant agree on those points
i can say that i get where your coming from with how it feels forced, i didnt vibe with the ending and how they decided ||"yea i guess youll get a second shot at life even though it literally violates how we handle the afterlife"|| as a forced good ending but overall
i thought it was a solid feel good movie that pushes the point home on focusing on what really matters in life and they accomplished that analogy perfectly
even w the wacky cat shit
😕 I loved soul
||I can agree with what you said. I came in thinking it'd be a jazz film and got whatever the fuck that was. I still thought it was good though. I guess for me, personally, I've been thinking a lot about the meaning of life and what my purpose is, so it struck a few chords in me. I can see why people wouldn't like it but I don't think it was bad at all.|| Soul
no pixar film is a true like... bomb
but for their standards i was super turned off
could partially be attached to the mindstate i was in while watching
i tend to have a general disdain and lack of faith in current day western film
and seeing one of those childhood favorite studios deliver something less than adequate (in my opinion) feels doubly shit
||I shared the same belief when I first saw the trailers. I thought they’d mention jazz more, but they focused on the life stuff which isn’t a bad topic to focus on. Just wanted more focus on jazz I guess instead of having it as a background.|| Soul
Is this any western film or western animation? Cause that's such a wide spectrum.
geri is my favorite chess player now.
both.
specifically US
i can't speak for other western countries

yea if your going into a theater with that mindset your already setting yourself up to hate it
Soul || I just watched it recently and the cat part really had me feeling a weird type of way. Idk I expected Soul to be more. And have a lot more time in the Jazz like the trailer made ot out to be. For kid standards like its fine but Im kinda tired of the shtick need to have gooy colorful side kick to make easy money bull pixar loves to do.||
i don't want to sound too doomer, I think there are still many good films coming out
I don't ever go into films expecting to be disappointed
||He made a cameo in toy Story 2, so that was cool seeing him fix up Woody. ||

havent seen star wars but i heard how awful the newer ones are
||Somehow... Palpatine returned|| Star Wars: ROS
8 was trying to do shit differently
dude............. i've ranted about this countless times but like
You guys should check out bad batch on Disney +
9 just shit on that promise and gave a shitty conclustion to it
Yeah its good fate
It is good
8 was actually going in a really good direction for like, half of the movie
bad batch is cool
and then the thing happened
Yeah bad batch is good
Havnt even seen sw 9 yet
and it just entirely went to shit
Hope they take it in a good direction
I think it’s heading in a good direction
Looks that way
it wasn't just that one thing, like every other question the movie presented in 8 was then answered horrifically wrong
I trust Filoni
then 9 had to pick up the pieces
i dont know like, rian johnson then came back with knives out dude and it turned out to be a pretty great film
Still crazy to me one dude voices almost everyone
knives out was sick. i heard there are sequels coming
keep it that way
very excited on that front
i think he works better as an independent filmmaker
Dee Bradley Baker
wtf 5????????????????????
more daniel craig man
FIVE???
what
I don’t know if Knives out can produce 5 sequels
Like a lot
5 sequels?
that's a fucking insane number to confirm holy god
damn
well, the universe is big in that too
you sure that's right
what we just saw was one idiosyncratic case in the movie
i would love to see more detective daniel craig
One idiosyncratic case with captain America
You know, I get shit on for this among my friends but I think Force Awakens was waaaaay worse than Last Jedi. At least TLJ tried something new and failed, while TFA was literally just A New Hope but with name changes
with his accent
Mind you
i really wish they didnt milk popular franchises and overstay their welcome
this was it i guess lol
basically, craig is hype for that role
and I'm here for every sequel
So James Bond but as a detective?
nah
it's just that sort of area
I’ve seen the movie
like almost noir, but moreso just... edgy male law-enforcer
yeah you totally get it then
It’d be funny if those were his two major roles
i loved how idiosyncratic he is
dude, he nailed it in knives out
Loved his accent
He did
i'm ready for another
oh wait fats, did you watch logan lucky? fate?
no sir
nope
never heard of it
watch that movie
he dominates it
alongside adam driver and channing tatum too
basically a heist movie but pretty funny
craig definitely steals the show in the movies I've seen him in
Adam driver is in some weird movies isn’t he
Dude was in Star Wars and then turns around to be indie star
Also in marriage story
his performance in marriage story is so good
If only everyone didn’t see him as Emo ren
he was the best part of the sequel trilogy tbf
Felt a bit stiff
well, thats the writing
But of the newer cast, preferable
he was great in last jedi, since i think its the best of the lot and he contributed a lot in that movie
He is good
I love SW yet can’t finish a major movie
The animations are so much better
Or side stories
yeah
Bad Batch
dood
clone wars, mandalorian, now the bad batch
Rogue one
best movie in the last 20 years
rogue one is cool too
Yup
i didnt enjoy it much but it was cool
I actually didn't really like Rogue one for some reason
I love LOVE the cast for rogue one
i reeeeeally liked how centered the plot was
Such a crazy good independent film
and how it explained prior things that were just a given in the old movies
It wasn’t reliant on anything
just so tight, simple, and fucking perfect
^^^
actually a great movie imo
gareth edwards himself admitted, he framed the story around the set pieces
i didnt feel that at all man tbh
||Thought the space battle scene was the best that came out of Star Wars under Disney|| Rogue One
i thought it was a bit meandering with all the indulgences, i didnt like to the characters as much as i wanted to too
would you say any of the prequels or the recent movies outshine rogue one harsh
i didn't feel that way personally
i dont like the movie content for star wars in recent years at all, dude
also the last 10-15 minutes of the film were so perfect for fanservice
I preferred rogue one to the 6 movies in the last 20 years
dude
rogue one ||unironically, I think that was the best showing of vader like,, ever. SO fucking cool dude and I don't even consider myself a big fan||
fats, you need to read the vader comics man
they're fucking insane
highly recommend
As long as it doesn’t involve the Skywalkers, it’s probably good
There’s so much of the universe to explore
i'm tired of the skywalkers too LMAO
yeah i don't know any of the extended lore or any shit like that
so idk what that'd be like for me but yeah
maybe i'll take a look someday
It's interesting cause I thought the prequels were just okay, even back when they released but with TCW and Rebels kinda filling in the holes, it really elevated them to pretty damn good. Which is probably unfair for Rogue One.
yeah, the comics pick up after the clone wars and are some of the best vader stories
Focus it on the bounty hunters or something.
MANDO
mando basically
dude, rewatch it. the scene I was just talking about from rogue one is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxL8bVJhXCM
that was such a good first episode
it's so good dude. like wtf
of season 1
i've seen this many times
you couldn't ask for better fanservice
just the sense of dread
that leading into the new hope is also pretty cool
rogue one is the best of the new sw movies imo
i like it the most out of the recent lot
but i dont like the movie content for star wars at all in recent years
i really love the animation and tv content
Because of donnie yen
donnie yen, forest whittaker, ben mendelsohn
that scene gives me the heebiejeebies
Isn’t he considered the best villain ever lol
by a lot, I'm sure
Mads mikkelsen is love
I forgot Mads was in that lol
he's one of the most iconic
alongside hannibal lecter and all
hannibal lecter is an amazing character
i wouldn't say best villain ever myself, but definitely most iconic- and DEFINITELY one of if not THE most iconic themes musically
imperial march
that theme is known worldwide by fucking everybody
watch pusher 1 and 2, the hunt, another round and riders of justice
Ok dad
williams baby

dude doesn't miss
it was my ringtone for a while
john williams is great
im done role playing your dad fate
Made a lot of iconic music
That was facetious
dude is a fucking legend
probably the greatest movie composer ever
well, he definitely is
followed by morricone
next to like, herrmann, morricone and zimmer
I think Zimmer's close to him.
nah, hermann and morricone are better than zimmer
he's good yeah
updated ranking on all the movies i saw last week:
- Judas and the black messiah
- Promising young woman
- Another round
- Raya and the last dragon
- Love and Monster
- Nobody
- Unhinged
- Monster Hunter
judas is good right?
You didn’t love monster hunter?

Monster hunter
Wait wait waits
yeah man, judas was great
its so much fun having seen the two main actor slowly creeping up in big movies too
||Did the movie end with Milla going into archdemon mode btw??|| MH movie. question to you oli
I haven't seen it myself, I just remember in an interview she said her character was going to main DBs
So I was like oh they're definitely doing that lol
lmfao now I'm going down the rabbit hole of darth vader vids
when the best actor in the movie is tony jaa, then something is wrong
"the emperor is not as forgiving as I am"
wanze || actually her dbs was glowing every now and then, maybe thats the movie equivalent to demon mode ||
lol
tbh, its hard going back to watch clone wars after seeing bad batch
bad batch looks so good
and clone wars.... uhhh
does rebels look any better?
the latter seasons look good
Well maybe I'll watch it years down the line at a hotel late into the night like I did some of the RE movies
yeah
its only worth watching to see some monsters and monster hunter weapons and gears
Yeah
Have you not seen clone wars or rebels before? I'm not sure what your question is
yikes that was nsfw?
what is?
sebastian stan as tommy lee
now it works, had to cut out the nipples
lily james from baby driver plays pamela anderson
lily james as pamela anderson
insane
yeah LMFAO
she looks so different
anyways back to kino
kino?
daredevil
Well, Clone Wars came out in 07 I think(?) so the animation in the earlier seasons is dated. And it starts off as light hearted as a show about war can possibly be but there's a tonal shift towards the later seasons. I think it's definitely worth your time if you're a fan of Star Wars though.
ohh
Did you start at the beginning?
im just an average fan of sw
yeah
maybe ill skip a few seasons, and if i get hooked on the show i can always go back to them later
Watch Landing at point Rain and see if you like it. I think that's where the animation picks up and it's a pretty action oriented arc
its not a continuous story btw oli, its basically different arcs in a season
it is, indeed, best superhero show as well
Think rebels started off slow in that department as well, and got better as it went along.
Also yeah, it's presented out of order. Like it jumps in time line from arc to arc
Yeah, rebels first season was slow but I think I ended up liking it better than TCW as a whole.
i dunno, i think i like invincible and the boys more 👀
The main cast was just lovely
Liked the highs of clone wars better, but it was a solid show though.
daredevil is by leaps and bounds better than both of them oli
That's a respectable opinion. Especially with season 7
the boy is just getting progressively more boring imo
i think daredevil had to many hiccups, lots of great moments and episodes, but a few bad ones too
invincible also has a lot of issues, issues that put it behind
I gotta commend the boys for making a pretty good show though, considering the comic its based on is absolutely disgusting.
I dropped that so hard
also, by the standard of daredevil's third season itself
invincible or the boys doesnt hold a candle
i still think season 1 is best
the boys comic is too much yeah
daredevils lawyer friends got too annoying in s3
drama queens the bunch of them
she became a better character because of her storyline
electra was so damn hot though
i disagree
electra is cool
and the punisher was better in daredevil than his own show
yeah
his conversations with matt were great
and ofc, kingpin
I didn't really like the Punisher show tbh
i didnt either wanze
the first few episodes of punisher show was good
kingpin yep, vincent d'onofrio gives quite a performance
then it just become some average bullets and bombs show
on par with full metal jacket
its the same with that dude
yeah, it got worse as it went along
iron skinned guy, whats his name again
It had some cool sequences that I wish more comic book stuff would do though. I forgot the episode number but ||when he was getting the shit beat out of him and it was spliced with him thinking about his wife and it was like a pitch black dream sequence||
he was better in jessica jones show, than in his own show
I didn't realize there was a second season
wtf LOL
i actually watched both iron fists seasons
but there was something there that made me watch all of it lmao
wtf they made season 3 in 2019
season 2 ended with a cliffhanger too
Were they still on netflix???
yeah
the heck
When did the netflix deal fall through?
2019
Can you even watch it on netflix anymore?
yep
i think so?
i'm watching daredevil on netflix now lmfao

Oh damn, I thought they took down all the marvel shows lol
btw, have you guys seen any other good movies released recently?
I still don't know what to think about the Defenders. It was a very strange show
its eh
Oh hmm, recent movies?
i didnt dislike it as much as everyone else
it led to daredevil season 3 tho
yeah
what about wolfwalkers?
forgot i saw Stray last week too, id rank it above unhinged
oli, watch the father
How's Mortal Kombat? It was released recently
eh
Haven't watched it yet
the father, really?... it seems so slow and boring, and itd probably make me emotional in a bad way 😩
hopkin's best performance in a long time
he'll make you cry so hard
in a good way
watching the trailer
|| please dont tell me anthony gets alzheimers, tell me its all a ploy instead..... is it? ||
spoiler tags for trailers
the movie is about alzheimers but the most innovative and sad depiction of alzheimers
all right man
you havnt seen wolfwalkers?
no, will check it later
the studio making it is like the irish ghibli
seems they made lots of great animations
oh damn
will watch wolfwalkers soon
Directed by Tomm Moore, Ross Stewart. With Honor Kneafsey, Eva Whittaker, Sean Bean, Simon McBurney. A young apprentice hunter and her father journey to Ireland to help wipe out the last wolf pack. But everything changes when she befriends a free-spirited girl from a mysterious tribe rumored to transform into wolves by night.
and this one
Directed by Tomm Moore, Nora Twomey. With Evan McGuire, Brendan Gleeson, Mick Lally, Christen Mooney. A young boy in a remote medieval outpost under siege from barbarian raids is beckoned to adventure when a celebrated master illuminator arrives with an ancient book, brimming with secret wisdom and powers.
oh wow that looks cool
the irish folklore trilogy
I watched Secret of Kells
how was it?
Didn't know there was more to it
It was good
but like
2009 lol
Don't remember much
Just that I liked it.
gonna watch them all in one go, starting with kells
Anyone who has watched Community here?
Yea whassup?
i watched invincible

i see
I had the wierdest dream
Invincible episode 5 and comic spoilers
As well as Kaido spoilers
||I had a dream where I somehow recruited Battle Beast and Big Mom to take down Kaido. You can imagine it was a shit stomp lmao||

BROOO
Wow
Also, they spoiled the biggest thing about the trailer in the thumbnail
Fucking hacks
ultimate spider-man (comic) ||was looking through my old files and remembered how good of a meme template these panels were||
lots of skin
naked girls and a guy kicking ass, thats all i remember from the first season
Which movie was the one that covered Bruce lee inventing Jeet Kune do?
Searching showed a movie named 'bruce lee's jeet kune do' but that's a recent one and doesn't have Bruce lee as cast ( as he had already died till then)
Let there be carnage trailer got me feeling Sony just making the Venom movie again but this time the result is one of Marvels finest psychopaths
did you think he wouldnt be in the movie
its still the main attraction dawg
carnage's first look is what fans have been anticipating
putting it on the fucking thumbnail is still bullshit
it was teased from the ending of the first movie itself
but seeing how he looks is also an important marketing tool

So I was thinking is the fat kid bff in Spiderman home coming suppose to be spiderman's arch nemesis?
Wow the gray matter technologies thing on TV made me mad on Breaking Bad lol
Avatar the last airbender book 3 episode 6 || the previous episode of zuko and other three going to the beach house was just boring as hell. Thank god this episode wasn't a filler. Roku and Sozin's relationship came out as a surprise, also sozin and roku both are great granfather of zuko. This episode was good compared to the previous in this season but still isn't on the level of how the last 4-5 episodes of previous seasons were. The backstories and their meanings didn't make much sense, or rather it seemed like it was forced to convey something that wasn't. Hoping the later episodes will make proper meaning of stuff shown in this episode. ||
@outer tulip
Thats one of my favorite episodes
indeed
i pray to every higher being that avatar studios puts out some mf bangers
of all variety
Its pretty exciting but im also scared as hell yeah
i have faith bc they have their whole own studio like that's just gotta be success
just fuckin gotta be
Two more series to finish off the cycle
Still hoping the next one is that abioye thing
i could easily see that being picked up
start a new universe if you need to
avatar multiverse
Yeah i wanna see some different cultures in the mix
Imagine like.... a wild west thing with spanish benders and gunslinging and shit
They could do a lot of cool stuff
the world is their oyster
|| so there's more to roku and sozin's story and the meaning of it, which would tie back to this episode and make sense? || avatar
Need this
great episode bad take
got my car back today so i was like hey i should see a movie i'm bored
the only movie i thought was ok starts in
1 minute
god everything is trash rn
i could see MK but i have no interest and i could just watch it on hbo max
Holy shit man || the way Walter and Jesse say goodbye 😭 || Breaking Bad Season 5 Ending
No decent movies anywhere man, it's a pain
all the no name movies the next few days are legit empty
most seats today was 4 seats
Now you can watch the El Camino movie
Still havent watched that
mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn even the biggest thing out looks lame
fuck you wrath of man
why is nobody just john wick ft saul
ATLA S3 ||I agree that The Beach episode was pretty boring. The only thing that stood out was Azula, cause you kind of learn a lot about her character.. Like the fact she (in her own F'd up way) actually wants Zuko to have their father's honor, her personality is something that can't be helped in anyway, and her relationship with her mother caused a lot of issues in her upbringing.. which is further shown in Episode 6. Which not jsut had the interesting grandfather reveal but also showed that Zuko and Aang are actually somewhat connected. The backstories aren't clear immediately, but I think it pays off later for the second half of the season which is pretty climatic. Like episode 10 is where things start to shift||
ozark is already man
Say it
Yea you never even had a chance
Watched episode 4 of invincible
avatar book 3 episode 11 || Whoa!!! Iroh!! The person I was hyped for. He became one of my fav character over time. The thing I find most illogical in most anime/shows/movies is the psychology of the character as they are being manipulated by some other character. Sokka shouldn't really have wasted time there, should have just cut her neck (tho that never happens anywhere) or toph could've just metal bended her, wouldhave been difficult to escape, if not impossible and then interrogated him. Even without Azula, after winning the invasion, they could have found out about suki one way or the other. I expected the invasion to fail but not in this manner. They could have done more and properly, but well its conceivable(understandable, couldn't get a proper word for it) as their mentality was crushed by the worst possible scenario. Was hoping the ballons to come handy in Ba Sing Se but seemed like they weren't completed till then. Zuko finally getting his senses back. And everything is getting connected. But I still think that Zuko going to the other side in the finale of book 2 was still unnecessary. Anyways. And Zuko's mother only being banished. My headcanon for it was that Ozai was said to kill his first born, zuko's mother stepped up and azulon agreed that killing his wife would be equal to killing his first born and that happened. anyways. Few extra things getting revealed really seems to make everything complete step by step||
@outer tulip (sorry to ping but been conversing with you since I started watching so thought I would share 😅 )
||nah totally cool!... Iroh is definitely one of my favorite characters. I like how we learn how true he was to himself, from the war and seeing bigger picture of things. As for Azula's Sokka stall (haha), I agree that it was a little silly, cause they were aware how important the timing was but at least we got a cool Toph vs dai li agents scene out of it. I thought this was also a good turning point for Zuko cause its kind of resolves the "true destiny" thing he's been struggling with. For a long time he thought being by his father's side was what he wanted and what his true purpose was (the beach episode). But even in confinment, Iroh was able to get through to him. As for Zuko's mom there's actually a cool graphic youtube depiction of her story (I'm not sure if is canon) but it's pretty interesting for when you finish the series. But you're definitely in the home stretch now... I think you'll love Zuko, Katara and Sokka more after the second act of book 3. || ATLA
don't think i've ever once skipped the boondocks theme
It's a great theme

Still my favorite trilogy, even the third one

avatar the last airbender final episode || honestly nothing much to say. Seems like I was too hyped for it. Expected to see more of iroh and the white lotus. the ending seemed rush. I mean the show's wonderful, full of good stuffs. or maybe I wanted more. honestly kinda felt a letdown||
|| I was more content or felt it epic (couldn't get the right word/phrase) during the finale of the last season (until the last 5 minutes), the iroh's prison escape, the white lotus's 5 members reveal episode ||
|| the lion turtle (or whatever it was) came out of nowhere, or maybe it is continued in legend of korra?||
AtLA || you could read the comics or the sequel series that seems to be where some loose ends are tied up ||
|| honestly was so in love with this show that it kinda felt sad when I am having mixed feelings about the ending and conclusion rn|| AtLA
||oh so that Lion turtle( or whatever the stuff) is connected to the Legend Of Korra|| ATLA
@outer tulip dropping a ping, seems you are unavailable currently
AtLA/LoK ||Not saying that, I'm not sure myself, but the tie-in comics and the sequel seem to have some stuff tied from the first series if you want to know||
oh ok. btw Makamio about ATLA ending || didn't you feel it was rushed or there were many parts that could have been better if they were going slow and not trying to pack everything in this season? ||
AtlA ||I did think some stuff like what the White Lotus members did after the war or other things could've gone into greater detail in the finale but overall I didn't get a rushed feeling from it||
||Oh and that adult Aang. when was he shown? In Korra?|| ATLA/LoK
there's his picture in my memory
AtlA/LoK ||yes||
oh. makes sense
|| the character arcs were complete. And the other stuff that it showed. And the titles of videos related to AtLA by Sage's Rain (great youtube channel btw) makes sense, why they sounded so philosophical. From the second half of episode 19 to episode 21 felt kinda rush. Zuko and Mai's relationship seemed kinda forced from even when they were shown in the flashback. the finale of the second season - I still feel it was bad. I mean. given Zuko's character development to taht point, he shouldn't have gone with Azula. I mean zuko's character dev in book 2 (until he gets together with azula) and his character development in book 3 both make sense individually, but the transition ( him getting with azula) felt not-suited to his previous character dev. Yeah, he needed to get his honor back from his father to finally realize the worldly things, it all makes sense about why he needed to go back to fire country. It also makes sense about how he was convinced to just stay running his tea house given the events of book 2. But if both character dev existing just made it bad (aargh! I can't put it in words properly).|| avatar the last airbender
@trim thunder (the above paragraph is just a rant) This question >>>|| and btw didn't katara learn to do blood bending even without full moon. the day she went to southern bender/conquerors with zuko wasn't a full moon, right? or am I remembering it wrong?|| AtLA
||I'm not sure if the night of "The Southern Raiders" was a full moon||
||I don't remember it to be. And as katara was more powerful bender than that old lady, she was able to blood bend without moon's power (a conversation like this happened). So I was expecting her to do that against Azula||AtLA
||wouldn't the blood bending be an ultimate attack? Could Azula have moved her body, without her power being maximized by the comet||
AtlA ||Okay, so I did look it up as I didn't remember it - the night Katara and Zuko raided the Southern Raiders was a full moon, hence why she was able to bloodbend this time|| @sage remnant
oh
AtlA/LoK ||The only characters who can bloodbend without a full moon would only be introduced in LoK, as even Hama needed the full moon||
how sneaky of the authors
||well Katara said she was stronger than Hama|| AtLA || she was the then history's strongest waterbender of souther tribe||, right?
AtlA ||Yes, but even Katara needed the full moon to bloodbend||
AtLA|| fire benders can do fire and lightning
Water benders can do with plant, water from air, water, mud and blood
Earth could do Metals, earth(rock and stuff), sand
only Airbenders seem to be limited to air, tho that;s something available everywhere||
AtlA/LoK ||Earthbenders and Airbenders pick up some more skills in the sequel series||
|| newer things have been introduced in LoK, right? I have vague memory of LoK s1 and I remember myself not enjoying it so I have been trying to stop myself from watching it|| LoK
oh nice
i need a website to watch Invincible for free (not amazon prime)
Torrent it
Or stream the torrent
You need to give it a few minutes early on for caching (storing) it and then it would play smooth
Hey guys ! Like how some guys's anilist accounts are pinned, let's pin Trakt accounts too here ( or whatever's better option)
oh Trakt is the western series version of anilist ? nice

Hyped as fuck for this
@vapid marlin @hoary hawk
It's so weird that Knives Out is becoming a franchise
Isn't Dev Patel the one who starred in Lion and Hotel Mumbai?
Funny how marvel has been on such a good streak that everyone just forgot about the venom movie being so laughed at and now theyre making us all remember again with a sequel
the trailer is cool yeah
Is it gonna be different from the first movie ? I don’t see what more they could add from the first movies story
I like knives out it was very entertaining
|| yeah the lion turtle was a bit random lol... but overall I’d say season 2 was my favorite too. I also thinking bingeing it is a different experience then watching it week to week (which I did).. you should def checkout legend of Korra though if you want to see what happens later down the road! || ATLA
If I'm not mistaken, the Knives Out sequels will have the same main detective but will focus on different cases
Give dave Bautista the lead in a romcom
Is this out yet?
