You know when a writer makes a bad script for a character and has to explain their historical domino effect from the past seasons in one episode? GOT spoilers in the tag=|| Well they had tiny bit of explanation for why I should hate Daenerys Targaryen. She wasn't necessarily narrated into someone I was suppose to hate until the writers decided, "Hey she's a killer and gone off her rocker". Some context to the character design: When TF:UK first started out, the artists and writers never were aware of the Budiansky designs in US - though, the writers were aware of how the US story would play out. Remember, it was all in drafting and conceptualization at the time - they only knew that they had to weave their stories between Budiansky's stories. To resolve this problem, they used the toy designs. This was fixed after Furman's story Raiders of the Last Ark when UK Editors came back with Budiansky's "TF Bible". However, this did not stop some artists from using the toy designs in some of the later issues since the "TF Bible" wasn't available for them.
