Funk, sorry for replying later, but I think it depends on the story and how they're written as an indicator for how long they should run. Breaking Bad, Mr. Robot and The Leftovers are some of the greatest ever but they also are very finite, defined stories, so the writing justified them going to how many ever seasons they had and effectively end.

||Wow. Just finished the new episode of the Mandalorian. I have a lot of thoughts, but it was really great seeing Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, and I love that Dave Filoni directed the episode. The fights were great and seeing Ahsoka demonstrate her mastery further as a Jedi was cool. Lots of good lore drops with Grogu (Baby Yoda) finally getting a name and getting some good backstory to him. Also I liked seeing how Ahsoka said she can't train him because of her obvious concerns due to what happened with Anakin. I think the biggest thing of all though was that SHE'S SEARCHING FOR THRAWN. I can't wait to see Rosario Dawson take on the role again, I know it'll be at some point in the future so I'm very excited. Also fingers crossed we do get Thrawn at some point in the season. Overall this episode was a 10/10 for me though.|| Mandalorian season 2 episode 5 spoilers
