I look at some of these firings as the same as when the NFL handles it
These studios and producers know things before the public do and weigh the possibilities
They have no real moral compass. It's business
The NFL would know of a player's misconduct almost a year b4 it reaches the public, but don't hand act on it until the public is aware
Do you guys think Disney was fully unaware of James Gunn's tweets or humor? Or Warner with what Amber did?
There are 2 sides. 1 group wanted James fired and the other thought Disney overreacted.
Disney pleased both. They fired him to cater to outrage that doesn't last more than a year and they brought him back for his apologist
I personally am not part of either group because I don't care if he gets fired or not. Plus I don't get his humor, it sounded weird. I'm not going to ask for a stranger to get fired based on something that has nothing to do with me tho. I'm not that bored.
So, should they get rid of Amber? Idc, but I do know it would be a business move and not anything moral based. Once we understand this as a society. studios will have a harder time with these kind of decisions. If the public is aware that studios don't care and are only doing these things to save face, things will get interesting. These Hollywood studios are filled to the brim with some fucked up people in powerful positions.

So Shazam. First of all I will say this. This is without question - for me, the best DC movie that has come out. If that's all anyone wanted to know, then by all means go see it. It's for all ages, so whether it's with your family or your significant other, it's one for all ages and it has a very good vibe. Some slightly more detailed thoughts to follow.

This is the first movie DC has put out that I think covers the vibe of a good movie, and a good comic book movie. Wonder Woman was a good movie, but not a good comic book movie if that makes sense. There is so much lore and excitement for comic book nerds to unpack and there are definitely moments from the comics that will leave you smiling ear to ear. The comedy is on point, the characters and the actors who play them are all so well cast and envisioned. This was not a misstep by DC in any way and their first true winner since Wonder Woman. There are 2 post credit scenes I implore you to stick around for, especially the second one. It's hilarious.

9/10 totally recommend for a good time

And Civil War had fantastic action but Zemo literally needed so many things out of his control to go right for his plan to work that it brought down the quality of the movie for me
