Rhythm of war ||what don’t you like about the pace. I’m currently 750 pages in but I was surprised when I learned that because I flew through the book. It feels like there is more “plot” happening on a chapter to chapter basi this book. Character arcs are being explored and furthered more often and the povs. are more interesting. I love owthbringer but kaladin and shallan were kinda back burner until they reach the capital, and then the end of the shadesmar trip. And while the Dalinar exploration is worth it, there was just a lot of talking and talking and getting other people to work with him. This isn’t bad, and it made his arc more realistic, but Ivefound rhythm of war a more fun read so far||

And the movie completely revolved around him as an actor. Which would generally make me sick cause I never liked him, but they made him look really good this time
