Attack of the clones 5/10 || Anakin, and Obi wan were pretty good. I like the characterization of Anakin here, he seems like a spoiled power hungry brat, making it make even more sense why he succumbed to the dark side ||

Revenge of the sith 8/10. ||not even particularly for the writing, it’s just cool as shit||

A New hope 9/10 || probably favorite star wars movie, start to finish everything is great, no complaints||

ESB 7/10 || good movie, moves kind of slow at parts||

ROTJ 8/10 ||good movie.||

TCW 8/10 || first few seasons are a bit boring, lean too much into the anthology aspect, Anakin is far different than he is in the movies which is an issue, they do not develop his descent into the dark side believably, he feels like a good guy with anger issues, Anakin in the movies is genuinely fucked mentally||

TLJ 3/10 would not watch again

In the end it's a movie I know I'll watch more times and get more appreciation of scenes like that. Superman 2025 review / thoughts right off the bat solid movie ngl. I really liked it. I watched it twice so yeah had to go in for the 3D rendition as well since another friend group was going to watch and they caught wind that I had watched the movie before without them.

Superman 2025 pt1 || Starting out I think having Krypto shown was goated right off the bat. Everyone loves dogs, and a superdog ? COME ON. The whole "robots with no consciousness or feelings" thing was cool too as superman is carried out to his spaceship / home idek what it actually is cause crystals form and it springs up maybe someone can tell me about that.

Moving to the metropolis scene the random blonde chick constantly clicking selfies felt annoying as hell but Ultraman design was cool. The early part with Lex Luthor repeating commands like C12, T3, N17, G89, A16, C14 etc ... was just too bland yk, I was like, what is it with this whole remote control schtick. Then the blonde turns out to be Lex’s girl, lol. Dimensional portal was a good addition. The Lex Luthor (as a brand ig) aura farming with the camera panning out to show the building seemed dope, then later on the whole scenes with Lex at the Pentagon.

The interview with himself, and her interviewing him, was alright, though Superman repeating himself and the two mixing up what was off the record and on the record got kind of boring and felt repetitive. When Lois says "Maybe this will never work" and he immediately asks "What does that mean?" LMAOO then pauses before calling out her name "Lois" those are like little details and dynamics within irl relations portrayed in a good way, always like that.

Lex, Ultraman, the blonde gf, engineer character idek in Antarctica again with Lex Luthor aura farming to maximum. Honestly, that was cool, ngl mf removes his glasses and does not flinch as Ultraman and Engineer go at it with Krypto / the caretaking robots. One thing that got me thinking is how the little frog turned into that huge creature, what was that thing can someone tell me . But Superman stepping in at just the right moments, saving the lady was cool. That whole fight with the frog creature and the Justice Gang aka Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Mister Terrific trying to gouge its eyes had me freaking the same way Superman was ...

Superman swooping in to save the squirrel was** epic**, by the way.

The secret harem bit (as misinfo spread by Luthor and the Boravia gov PR I think) was a bit much almost felt like Superman's character was being diminshed in ways I’d never associate with Superman tbf. Superman getting mad over Lex capturing Krypto and getting in his face? Perfect.

The pocket dimension / universe was kind of neat ngl as a holding place for Luthor and govs, I have always wanted Superman movies to have more into sci-fi or cosmic elements thise makes easier for the other verses to be included such as whatever they got planned for Green Lantern and other meta humans as they call them going ahead.

HHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA monkeys in the pocket dimension killed me that is an accurate representation of mfs on Twitter and Reddit Snyderbots and Gunnsoldiers flinging crap at each other. Super based. Just enjoy things do not bitch and whine is all I gotta say about that.

Jimmy Olsen and the girls just fawning over him is a nice bit. Was kinda sad how Joseph/Rex was held hostage by Lex Luthor, in the same way Superman way ie by trapping their kids. The hostage piece do be permeating into everything there is not just OP lol. Would have never imagined Jimmy Olsen's gf being her tho Eve.

Mister Terrific carried every single scene he was in hard af. Mister Terrific 10/10 GODDAMN easily that break-in scene, the escape sequence too was clean as hell.
"Your choices, Clark your actions .. that's what makes you who you are." line was absolute gold. ||

Superman 2025 pt2 || Almost cried at the moment cause it redefined the new way in which Superman was looking at himself or who he is supposed to be post the reveal of what his biological mother and father intended him to do.

Ultraman being a freakin clone of Clark Kent (aka Superman) was nutty af, and then again with Lex Luthor spamming the moves: 3K, 4B, 22N, 88J, 27H, 36J, 68F etc... MAAAAAANNNNNNNN can we catch a break with this but it was okay imo. I just wish we had more of Ultraman showing some sort of personality or concious thought you know instead of just being Lex's robot like completely. But nothing I am annoyed or upset over ngl.

Finally I did love Krypto getting the toys when Ultraman vs. Superman went down earlier I was like damn dog really is ruining everything like Mister Terrific said yk . After that, Superman just ragdolls the clone amazing. So it's a clone but Superman is indeed fighting with peak tactics (brain over brawn thing) .. Him killing the raptors? Aura and gas af 1 hunnid.

The Justice Gang saving Jaharanpur was swag too. I really liked the Green Lantern’s constructs esp the stuff he chose to flip over the tanks and everything.

The ending was perfect, Superman confronting Lex Luthor as to what exactly makes him hate Superman to only be told back he is as much of a human as anyone on the planet (while Luthor is not in manifold ways imo). Eve and Jimmy Olsen ending up together was sweet. Clark and Lois kissing... and BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM Ultraman comes out of nowhere tackles the two. But they both survive, so it's alright, I guess.

cut to where Superman's home / base is a FREAKING COUSIN ? WTF how is there a Supergirl ??? WHAAAT and Krypto is her dog lol, that was Gucci. I thought the foster situation meant it was Superman’s parents dog or something, lmao. Then there’s the footage of Superman’s parents at the end which is a neat touch towards the ending.

The whole humanizing aspect is what makes the movie sooooo goooood in my opinion. ||

peacemaker & superman ||so i watched the show and the movie, and i just wanna share my thoughts on james gunn, as a director, and a film maker, ik fuck all abt film making but this was a theme with me while watching james gunn projects so i wanted to point it out, i have watched alot of dc animated movies, ik who alot of the characters are, and at first, when i was watching those movies i did not have much of a positive outlook on some of them, like take superman or wonder woman for example, both in the dceu and the animated films, their side of characters in those movies never really intrested me, i found them boring, now some of those same characters appeared in the superman movie, and my opinion on them completely switched, the way they introduced those characters to me was fantastic, now with peacemaker, it was a completely new set of characters, which i also fell in love with, knew nothing abt them, no familiarity in the slightest, and im sure that going ahead in lanterns and the other projects, where ive seen those characters on the screen before, didnt really like them, ill sure as hell like them this time, i didnt really give a fuck abt the characters in the supergirl show asw so when the movie comes out im hoping the same thing would happen as it did with superman||

@harshaval#0000 Superman movie ||On first watch, I just kinda enjoyed the movie as a campy corny Superman movie. just got out of my second viewing with my sister and I genuinely think this is the best comic book movie I’ve ever seen, from just a thematic standpoint. The way the movie treats the cynicism of the supporting cast is incredibly cathartic, the interview exchange between Lois and Clark being the big one that was very blatant. The way the movie tied up the end with Israel also was really smart and a snare I think that any other director would have (and has) fallen into. Having Guy and Hawkgirl be the ones to deal with it; not because they were told to or because Superman made some sort of plea to them in a moment of desperation, but because they were inspired by his actions to simply go and do right in their own way (killing invading soldiers and a bloodthirsty dictator) was tight and we didn’t have to deal with Superman brooding over having to kill, because he didn’t need to. I really really enjoyed every aspect of the movie. I pray they don’t fuck it up with some lame sequel.||
