Finished Requiem for a Dream ||I really like the superb editing that reflects the way a drugged person might feel. It made watching through the downfall of the characters bearable. I felt bad for the grandma the most out of the cast, because she just wanted to have a close bond with his son. I really felt her feelings of being alone while being abandoned by her only son. I could definitely see how that isolation can lead to the corrupt sense of self-worth that you'd probably overdose the medication you have. Very much understood every character's struggles and saw the point, definitely just a film I'll see once. XD||

Season 5, 6, 7 came out after the Disney acquisition yes. Season 5 first episode aired on sep 2012. You can’t sit here and tell me that Disney oversaw season 5 when they finalized the deal in October of 2012. And the final episode of season 6 came out a few months before rebels. It takes so long to make the shows it was all basically done by the time Disney was involved. In January 2014 they were still writing the scripts for rebels. Rebels is really the only thing they worked on. Season 6 was all stuff they had already planned or worked on in advanced and cobbled together because by then Disney has taken Filoni and his team and got them working in Rebels.

Mcu disney+ series are way too short to have meaningful interactions. The netflix series being 13 ep long gave the villians and characters enough time to develop and stay compelling

I prefer marvel tv instead of the current situation where all the series have to be in the mcu now. In the marvel tv era, we'd get stuff like legion, which was disconnected and allowed to be its own thing. Thats part of why i prefer dc tv as the series aren't forced to be in the same universe unless gunn is changing that.

xmen 97 1-2|| They rly made storm an omega lvl goddess in e1 only to depower her the next ep. The action sequences are incredible, very fluid and cool showcase of powers. Magneto's a compelling char so far. At first, i thought he'd be scheming but he seems genuine in his willingness to change. The rouge/magneto stuff is weird tho, idk what to make of it.||

xmen 97 e8|| These ppl willing to kill themselves to turn into sentinels just so they'd have power over mutants, insane. Swashbuckler nightcrawler was amazing. That was an insane power display by magneto, EMPing the entire world. Xavier arrived too late. ||

I can't stop geeking over the incredible action sequences in this series. They're showcasing the mutants powersets in creative ways. Refreshing from the generic action in mcu.
