RTD was known for the deus ex machinas that had very little logic but were thematically and character driven, Moffat's story driven resolutions ranged from smart to what the fuck are you doing now
I think RTD's approach is overall more consistent and better than moffat purely because moffat very often just wrote himself into a corner and then had to spend 60 minutes explaining how he gets out of the corner forgetting the show is supposed to be about the characters and not his 50000 iq plotting
RTD is a bit more like Oda in that regard actually, the emotional release from the tension is more emotionally satisfying to me than the 10000 iq plotting moffat tends to do

Saw Godzilla Minus One. Spoilers for that and Shin Godzilla. || I can’t really give this movie a fair critique cause I fell asleep at multiple points. I’m not sure why I was bored. Maybe it was cause the protagonist’s arc was so straightforward or that I got tired of the retread of the plot I saw in Shin. On the other hand, my friend liked it a lot and was engaged in the plot. It’s probably my fault for being in the wrong mood for this kind of movie, cause I did see scenes that were excellently acted and presented and all. 😭||

Godzilla Minus One end ||I loved the personal feel the movie had, and Koichi's character arc through the movie was just . Hit the emotions right where it needed to. Seems they left Godzilla's fate up in the air as his heart starts regenerating, and What was up with Noriko's neck. Overall 9.7/10 movie, would recommend||
