TMNT Mutant Mayhem || Wow this movie surprised me in so many ways this was so fun to watch. My only complaints with this movie is Donatello saying Drake was the goat and the constant real life references that kinda kills the immersion. Other than that this movie was great! Also they reference Attack on Titan a couple times which was interesting but i’ll take it. And some great music choices as well as the credits song being Can I kick it by Tribe. AND SHREDDER BEING SHOWN IN A POST CREDITS SCENE FOR A SEQUEL! so hype! ||

Oppenheimer ||I didn't really like the trinity test explosion. I appreciate Nolan avoiding CGI but to me the explosion itself didn't feel as impressive as it should've. I understand how he got those shots but they didn't do what I expected them to. The use of silence was pretty good but it lacked the boom of the actual explosion. Dunno if it was a visual or sounds issue for me but somehow it didn't feel strong enough||

oppenheimer ||what felt more important to me was the way they built up to, their fears and anxieties and how they interacted with each other, what oppenheimer was feeling, the general sense of impending doom and trepidation, plus the elation from the success after the explosion and the entire aftermath||

Oppenheimer ||Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie just that part didn't hit as hard as I wanted it or expected it to. The build up was great. Perhaps that was part of the reason the explosion felt small (or that I knew the explosion literally was small ) ||
