Pulp fiction|| that makes sense, makes me wonder why people are so enamored with it. It was still a pretty solid movie though, 8, maybe 9 out of 10 for me. Jules and Vince were the highlight obviously, wolf was fun. Kinda sad that vince died with so little fanfare, but I also get it. Again, it’s def one of those movies thats hard to grasp everything on a first viewing I can tell and I could probably watch it a couple times and find something new every time||

Give A Boy A Gun (book review, so major spoilers)
I have no idea where to put this, and since there's no channel about books, and the book is western to, I'm just dropping my review here

||I just finished reading it and it's actually a very good read. I'm not one to read books, since I'm more of a comic type of person. Well, i did read it in german and there might've been a few mistranslations here and there, but it's still amazing. The plotline is basic. Two boys, Gary and Brendan, who get bullied and beat up every day, plot a school shooting for revenge and while doing that, they slowly derive into insanity.
I like how the book was written from an interviewer's perspective, you don't see that often. And that the perspective was Gary's stepsister. She basically interviewed all those victims and eye witnesses just to try and get the truth out of them. Why? Because she wanted to know Gary's true nature. Why he even did this.
It's terrifying to realise that if one of the teachers actually put some fucking effort in asking Brendan and Gary what was wrong and actually gave consequences to the people that ruined their entire lives, the school shooting wouldn't have happened. What's even worse is that Brendan got into a coma because of them, after all that shit went down. Which shakes me.
To see that their friends, Allison and Ryan, slowly were almost caught in that black hole of desperation and sorrow, also makes me sad.||

||in general, it's an amazing book. Give it a try if you like that sort of genre.||

||It was crazy, the plot twists were kinda fun and new. Usually horror shows end up giving us all the characters, but it was kinda fun to see characters get revealed one after the other, only as and when required.
Tho I gotta admit the moment we met that old man who lived in the green neighborhood, it was such a juxtaposition from that run down house it immediately set off red alert from a narrative perspective. I do wish we had seen his interaction with the "creature" tho.
Towards the end it was one creepy motherly thing when the woman tried to show her "love" to Tess lmao it freaked me out more than the guy's eye getting gorged out. Also, the way the DJ guy dealt with the situation by throwing Tess down confirms the initial rape allegations were correct. Also by the fact that when he was being informed about the case, his focus was more on what happened to the pilot episode and less on the allegations||
