What he said wasn't because he was trying to seem not full of himself, and it was entirely fair. He probably couldn't have beaten Sozin at that point. Sozin was younger, physically probably stronger, and Iroh had only just managed to get any kind of decent physique back. Redirecting lightning is all well and good, but that's no instant win. Aang was also empowered by the comet and struggled, and Iroh was no prodigy miles above Sozin. This wasn't like an Azula vs Zuko thing.||

Thor love and thunder ||firstly I loved how kitsch it was, the drama, the catchphrases, the general lack of seriousness. The antagonist felt secondary to thor's character search of his meaning in life, finding love. Ofc the villain was there because its a marvel movie and there must be one, but I liked how he felt like a simple plot device.
Other than that the movie concentrated on cool moments for the sake of being cool, often times they came out as cringy, but good cringy, funny cringy. I didn't mind at all johnatan and stormbreaker being passed around without all the "worthy" bs, and the "couple crisis" Thor was having with stormbreaker was hilarious.
I feel like these aspects gave the movie a personality instead being another generic movie about another superhero fighting another super villain saving once again the universe||

The story for 2 felt a little weirder but the same core messages in each of the movies are all great

Idk why but I liked the message of 2 alot, maybe just because it had so much to do with its villain
