Very good show, I just watched all of it last year
It’s time for Peak

this is real unedited footage from a billion dollar company made film
Antman 3 ||I really do hate that they made Darren Cross MODOK||
💀
TLOU ep 7 || Good ep. Did the flashback justice imo||

The state of current superhero films...
is it really
yeah
Disney humor
Quantumania || thank god kang was taken fully seriously, what they did yo modok was criminal ||
At least theres guardians 3 in a few months
Quantumania being sandwiched by 2 actually good mcu movies

And probably the last 2 until infinite mid
TLOU ep 7 ||I remember nothing of the left behind DLC so this is pretty much new for me||
so idrk shit bout modok
ik he has some hulu thing that people do not speak highly of
my only time seeing him was in that cartoon years and years ago where he works for doctor doom
the super hero squad show
Just finished Harry Potter 7 part 1
HP 7 Part 1 ||Certain chase sequences were clunky, didn't enjoy the constant cuts. Thought the film did a good job expressing the overall dread of the MCs situation. Pretty much wanted by the portion of the wizarding world that's bowed down to Voldemort already and separated from all of their friends. Can't believe they killed off one of the most interesting characters in Moody offscreen in the opening, I call BS, he deserved better. Big RIP Hedwig and Dobby
So the diary from HP 2 was a Horcrux and Harry of course destroyed that at the end of that movie, and in this one they just destroyed the locket so that's 2 down, but why did Ron say they were only 3 left? That doesn't add up if Voldemort made 7. They also mentioned that there was a ring that was one that Dumbledore destroyed but unless that happened offscreen I don't recall that happening, and even if it did that would mean there are 4 left and not 3. Odd stuff. Still overall neat movie.||
HP 6 ||if you remember when Dumbledore was giving Harry private lessons he shows him the ring that he destroyed and that cursed his hand||
HP 6 ||yeah it happened before the 6th movie started during summer vacation||
the 6th book is my favorite but the movie didn't do it justice because they didn't include a lot of stuff even though it isn't that long of a book
HP 7 Part 1 ||Cannot believe they nixed Pettigrew's death scene in favor of some comical KO from Dobby. FFS you've had 0 issue showing blood or people looking possessed or cursed looking transformations but heaven forbid you show a POS getting his just desserts because he hesitated for a split second remembering the debt he owed Harry and that 1 second made his cursed metal hand choke him to death.||
yeah...
HP 7 Part 1|| like I get Pettigrew couldn't be redeemed, but that split second of hesitation could have been great for his character and it shows just how evil Voldermort is even when he gives you something||
Man I really should be sleeping but this Wu Tang show has me hooked
It wasn’t super impactful that’s why I’d imagine. It was a good episode though
Rip 😔
People complaining because David Tennant is there
Get over it already
Oh 😞
New TLOU episode is goated
Watching it this weekend. Hopefully it’s better than ep 6
6 was the closest to a miss we’ve had so far…needs to go back in the right direction
I’m praying it didn’t peak with episode 3 and another episode matches or surpasses it
I think these final 3 episodes will be awesome
4 and 6 were definitely the worst of the bunch
there are only 2 more left I think
oh
TLOU game spoilers ||They cut out a lot of content from the Tommy reunion and university sections to cram in as much as possible into ep 6. Realistically it should have been 2 episodes not 1 ||
TLOU ep 6 ||The university section in the show was really lackluster compared to the game ||
TLOU episode 6 ||Joel starts off saying “Tommy, you and I need to go to Colorado, which then becomes, “okay, now you must pick between 1 of us going” like
but that plotline was dumb I won’t lie. ||
TLOU episode 6 ||and also maybe take the dog scene down to 2 people if they want to use that as a realistic example of a time Joel could have fought back and protected Ellie instead of using it as an excuse to dump her ||
TLOU ep 6/Game spoilers ||In the game the camp gets raided and there's action and more conflict between Tommy and Joel. Also Ellie runs off and you and Tommy go rescue her. And in the university, it's a lot more tense and Joel's injury is a lot more brutal||
Is 6 the latest one
Because that's cap
Also last week's if it's TLOU Tv show ||The one with the deaf kid||
The latest one is way better than ep 3
7 is the latest one
6 was the week before
TLOU ||Them finding Tommy||
no it is not lol. They're both good but don't skew Adam's expectations that much by saying it's way better
TLOU ||The one with the deaf kid and the latest one are definitely the best one||
Well it's just true
I didn't play the game
TLOU Latest || Left behind was pretty different than the way they made it in the show, I could understand why they did it but I think the game did a better job ||
Finished s1 of stranger things
Thoughts?

Stranger things season 1 || will b gone lol ||
Who’s your favorite character so far?
Too spooky to watch at night tho
so I won’t start s2 today
ST s1 || the cop and john ||
If you think s1 is spooky wait until the rest
ST S1 || hopper is by far my favorite aswell, along with someone you’ll meet next season ||
Personally not too much of a fan of ST especially later on
But it’s for sure keeping Netflix alive
Although it’s miles better to watch then outer banks
Honestly it was pretty consistent for me, I didn’t think I was going to like it. I didn’t start watching until S4 then binged it all
yeah I don’t get the hype behind outer banks
It’s so dumb imo
The logic
And how people act
I’ve saw a few random clips of poor editing with stunt doubles lol
Outer banks ||all the characters are supposed to be 16 while one guy is just doing lines of coke and the actors are like mid 20s||
@plush zenith
Outer banks ||john b is also still a fugitive while sheriff asshole is shaking his impudent fist||
Riverdale laughing in the corner

Gosh, John Wick is a great movie
Riverdale was so upsetting, I actually liked it at first then it just progressively got worse and worse
I tried to watch it, but I lost interest.
TikToks about outer banks season 3 editors mistakes are killing me and I don’t even watch outer banks
Finally finished the Harry Potter movie series from start to finish
🥹
What a journey
Now you read all of JKs tweets for things you never knew you didn’t want to hear, || like people shitting themselves and using magic to clean themself when toilets didn’t exist || HP

RIP Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, Richard Griffiths, and Helen McCrory
HP2/HP7 Part 1 ||Allegedly the original voice actor for Dobby played him in both movies but I call BS, doesn't sound anything like he did in his 1st appearance||
it is him
IMDB doesn't lie lol
IMDB can be edited, I know this for a fact because as a joke fans of a gaming YTer I watch put his name and photos into the IMDB page of a show he has been making jokes about

because the actors are hot
the show is terrible
no wonder its shit
You gonna watch all of them meu?
idr which one I stopped at but I should get back to it
I am
John wick (idk which movie so click at your own risk) || which one is it where it ends with everyone after him ||
2
Ye
Gotta watch 3 then
There's going to be a series and a spinoff movie
And the fourth
I hope Laurence Fishburn will be in it.
in the spinoff or the series?
The fourth movie
idk if this is a spoiler from the trailer but I'll tag it just in case
john wick 4 ||yes he's in the movie||
american history x ||that ending totally got me, I was 1000% expecting the older brother to die like every other 90s movie but this one is clearly different from the rest and not just because of the plot twist||
American history x ||I got spoiled on it before I saw the movie fully 😔||
||it’s still so tragic ||
Is Constantine like Sandman who it's on its own, but occasionally has crossovers?
I wanna read it but I don't wanna bother reading the rest of DC.
I feel like I asked this before..
wish I could help but I don't know much about DC comics
I think he was created by the same dude that created watchmen but thats all I know
Ohh
JW3 || poor John Wick is going through shit. ||
JW3 ||especially when you realize everything's happened in a week or 2 between all 3 movies||
Oof
JW3 ||he's riding a horse and having a chase scene. Lolol||
||The graphics in that is a bit iffy tho||
American History X || such a good movie, just when things are looking up that happens
, Ed Norton is great ||
He’s carrying the streaming industry
I recently started watching the last of us, I’m afraid this is really good
I fucking love pedro pascal

My bisexual prince for life 👑 (no idea what his preferences are in real life)
https://twitter.com/FilmUpdates/status/1630631200271286280?t=jU1KWN6mSBBzKDqYHO2x6g&s=19 @modern lichen 's only reason to watch the Oscars
Just watched Inglorious Basterds, I really liked it
Slowly but surely I'll catch up with every major movie I missed
Taxi Driver is next I think
Movie suggestions are welcomed
On my list I got Pulp Fiction, Inception, Taxi Driver, 8 mile, The Godfather, The Wolf of Wall street, like 5 Miyazaki movies and Once Upon a time in Hollywood
Have you seen reservoir dogs?
Nope I'll add that to the list
Did you like the ending
(say no or you are not my friend anymore)
Let's say I liked everything else more
I didn't dislike it but I didn't like it that much either
Also Brad Pitt speaking Italian was hilarious
You are saved then
As for Myiazaki's movies I have Porco Rosso, Howl's moving castle and Spirited Away
Oh I also have Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind
Not as a Myiazaki movie of course lol
Watch Porco Rosso
I will
Honestly the best film out of those 3, Howls is amazing but I liked Rosso more
Spirited Away is good but ngl it's overrated
Add seven to your list
I've seen the spookie mask dude everywhere
I think I already watched it
Oh shit
Yeah it's the film that made Ghibli as a studio "blow up" so to speak
That and Totoro
Seven ||Is it that movie about that killer killing people by cardinal sins?||
Yes
WATCH MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO
Nah it's a cool movie
Johto have you ever wanted to cry
Seven?
Seven disturbed me a lot, but I liked the movie
Yea
Dude you're crazy
I'm not a big fan of dramatic movies
I don't like to get sad watching one
Titanic makes me cry..
Dang I was gonna recommend you The Wind Rises cause that shit made me cry
One good twist doesn't somehow make the rest of the movie not boring
Fed recommend me some movies I should watch
esp when it's like 2.5 hours long
Even Italian ones
Shiki-jitsu
you did watch fantozzi right
No
WHAT THE FUCK
Any movies about a dog make me cry
As far as Italian comedy I just watched Tre uomini e una gamba
How can you even call yourself italian
And I love it I don't care if you call that shit basic or mainstream or boring
Life is Beautiful?
Coco also made me cry
No
I never watched it so...
I'm not a movie guy that's why I'm catching up
Ok watch Fantozzi and La Vita E' Bella
Watch it
Me too!
Fantozzi is like 7 movies btw
Every single Fantozzi one?
My dog skip...
The problem is I'm catching up on those movies with my roommates and I think they hate Italian comedies
Oh
I will have to watch them after I catch up with every other movie
then don't watch Shiki jitsu either
I didn't watch it because I knew I would cry

I should watch Morbius
It would definitely make you sob for like a week straight
wtf
Watch John Wick
It was a joke lol I only know that movie is hilariously bad
And it became a meme for some reason
Isn't there like a whole saga of movies about him?
Man, Shiki Jitsu is not as good as you make it out to be, Fed lol
Mmmhhh
You didn't even watch it
Because you only recently found out about it
No?
I want some artsy fartsy movies to watch
I knew about it for a long time
But it is goated
What the fuck are you in about
I like thrillers that keep me guessing every step of the way
Yee
Seven and the game are like that for me
It's just fairly ok when I watched it, nothing special
I don't remember the last film I watched besides those Bo Burnham specials but I wouldn't call those films per se
Even if you are just talking about the visuals for "art" it is wayyyyyyyyy better than ok
Yeah I like thrillers a lot for that reason too
Maybe it was PiB2
I don't like Anno's compositions in live action
Add the game to your list then
It's just a bit too tacky
Will do
I got back into a Bo Burnham mood after you posted about watching the specials, Star lol
You lost the game
Genius
It's not a thriller, but "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Is so good
Yeah they're really good
Despite the somewhat dated humor he can express at times
(F slur humor)
Yeah
He made a statement apologising for it i think
Times were different in the late 2000s early 2010s
Yeah he progressed and that's what I care about
Do you mean forced
?
By tacky
Idrc about what folks say in the past if they make moves to fix it or make better of what was said
No, i just don't like how some frame look
He also made a hilarious song about that in Inside
Where he's working out and sweating 😭
Well I think it's one of those movies where every frame is a great painting
I love that one
It's like an 80s song
When he dressed up as Aladdin lmao
Every frame is not a painting lol, just a bit weird for my taste
For that movie it is imo
Eh
And that was his goal too
Dang that movie is over 20 years old
It's a bit boring too
What movie
The movie you are talking about
I was a wee lass in 2000
Have you seen prisoners?
Haven’t seen Incendies
But speaking of Denis Villeneuve
Just watched Blade Runner 2049
Stunning
He’s such a master at atmosphere and immersion
I still have not seen it
You should
I recommend it
It's such a great movie
I think I'll rewatch Blade Runner and then watch BR 2049
BR2049 is great, although I liked it more on rewatch than on first watch
Yeah, catch on more details on a rewatch
Blade Runner and movies like that is my aesthetic
No I haven't
Would recommend
Fits that type of mystery thriller that always keeps you guessing genre
Np
Johto watching movies?

Whiplash and La La Land
the game is severely underrated
amazing
Villanueve is insane
Warner Bros Discovery hopes to turn ‘LORD OF THE RINGS’ into a franchise like ‘STAR WARS’.
(Source: https://t.co/vRqwLWm3bV)

that does not sound good lol
I guarantee you if JK Rowling wasn't a fucking asshole they would try it with harry potter
I think they are
(bad)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

they are actually
most likely

Harry Potter sucks anyways
not anytime soon, I bet they'll wait until JK Rowling dies
It definitely doesn’t
Ngl man I’ve never seen or read it

I’m going to murder all corporations
Feel that, where are we starting?
We’re going to need access to multiple orbital cannons
Also based af Jesus

It’s more efficient if you let Disney take everything over
Then you only have to punch one thing
high and low
ikiru
alien
blade runner
But then it's a monopoly and they'll siphon our war supplies until we have nothing else, we'll be forced to surrender
Action must be taken now
Harry potters universe is kinda a mess

Whiplash is one of my favorite movies of all time
La La Land is freaking gorgeous
both movies made me fall in love with the art form even more
Babylon his best
indeed

I don't like musicals
But thank you for the suggestion anyway
oooo have you seen silence of the lambs?
Nope that's another movie that I should watch
most def
rn I'm watching the Cyberpunk series
I think it's a #other-series discussion but I'm really liking it so far
Indeed
I have not, but I’m debating on if it’s worth it just for the laugh
what??? The Mandalorian is out??
about time
I just gave up after watching a couple of episodes of the boba Fett show
not watching any more Disney+ shows
Andor??
Even i am bored
But andor and mando were really good
I enjoyed them
I gave up already
last Disney+ show I watched was Moon Knight
not watching any more of them
I was living under a rock for the past 3 weeks how is antman the new movie?
Depends on the viewer tbh, I enjoyed it
I see
it has humpty dumpty clone
Tragic because Andor is the only solid one of them all
I get it though
D+ is so bad
I seriously encourage you to watch Andor, it's different from the rest and most fans agree
cus that shit is trash 🔥
Andors the only worthwhile disney plus star wars
Hulk time
||Jack Kirby art
|| The Incredible Hulk #1
The Incredible Hulk #1
||Huh, so instead of anger, what transformed him at first was the lack of sun light I guess|| The Incredible Hulk #1
alot easier to see the frankenstein inspiration when he's grey
Thursday > Wednesday
Mando s3 || first 5 mins are an accurate depiction of Florida life
||
How many episodes out?

Didn’t watch last night because i was out but definitely gonna check it out after school
Just 1 started today
Nice nice
Gonna spend my day tomorrow with homework and movies because we are having a chance of storms tomorrow
Mando s3 e1 || grogu trying to hug the droid smiths
||
Not sure if Oni: Thunder Gods Tale falls under western series or other series but I just watched the first episode and really like it
The blend of 2D animation and stop motion is gorgeous
looked it up
looks nifty
netflix lmaoo
fuckin netflix gon kill it
i'll check it out sometime
its kinda ehh
Ohh
Might watch Mando weekly this time
I have started my journey on creating a plex server
messing around with MakeMKV and Handbrake right now
I think I need a new blu ray drive though, this one only does 2x speed lmao
i actually did watch a couple of episodes, decided to skip torchwood until i watch this season
they gave been pretty cool, but not too cool
Read mistborn or die

dr who s6 || super disappointed at the silence reveal, felt like it was being hyped as a big bad level threat and its just... that||
Oh the neil gaiman episode
ye
Pog
dr who s6 || they just feel like minor episode villains and it wasn't worth dragging out the mystery for longer than a season, but I am curious about the astronaut, i am guessing its someone like amy or river in there||
Doctor who s6 ||Those aliens arent the silence, they are just part of it||
dr who s6 || oh they were calling them the silence, maybe the story is still continuing then||
dr who s6 || also i know the doctor has talked about the tardis having this and that room but it being that massive from the inside genuinely surprised me lol, i hope we explore it properly someday||
||Its a moffat thing lol|| doctor who s6
dr who s6 || its kind of cool tbh, loved how that corridor looked||
dr who s6 || also i know "tardis" knew too much but she would have been a great addition to the crew. If not physically, a voice behind the console wouldve been fine too||
but oh well
Dr who s6 ||True||
But yea the best s6 episodes are the one relevant to the series arc, rest are quite mid except for the gaiman one
But the ending still..
Goated?

as always

Chef (2014) ||This movie is FIRE 🔥 💯||
||Rewatch makes it even better, where my chefbros at?? My Chefians||
Chef (2014) || just recently watched it, such a good movie. Love Jon Favreau. Great cast all around too, loved the freak out scene
||
Tlou/mando
watching narcos
pedro pascal 🐐
Finished s2 of stranger things
||another season of strange things|| how do they keep doing it
@plush zenith who was the character you said you liked in this season now that I’m finished
how did you like season 2?
Stranger Things S2 || Billy ||
its a great movie
did it seem like it was more of a movie for women?
i dont know who it was targeted to
Its fun i liked it
I hope you enjoy 🙂
so I've been ripping my blu rays to add to my plex server and my blu ray of pulp fiction has no extra audio tracks or subtitles
but my scott pilgrim vs the world has a shit ton of language audio tracks lmao
JW4 poster is so fkin good
Tf is jw4
John Wick 4
Hi
started watching staged with Michael Sheen and David Tennant
POG
Every time I see something about the Dark Crystal series, I get sad because Netflix cancelled it.
same
the show was so nice
man, staged is fuckin hilarious
@brave orbit this show is fuckin hysterical LMAO

One of my favorite movies!
🍷
Now I gotta rewatch it
#Quantumania writer Jeff Loveness has addressed criticism of the movie's #MODOK humor:
"I refuse to listen to the fans on this. I will not make MODOK serious... He'll be a big dumbhead. That’s all..." Full quote: https://t.co/MKIFBHVZL1

Stop putting people in positions of authority who don’t actually like what they’re being asked to work with
I agree
Why do you keep watching mcu movies
Kinda wanna rewatch spy kids
I went with my friends
Harsh you read batman stuff right?
Yeah, what's up?
Nah
Read the new 52 Batman series
I have listed it out in the pins
Check Peggy's message in the pins
Thats my list
Alright thanks
I mean it definitely is good for the first few arcs
i stopped reading after that so idk how it goes in the later parts
Ant-Man? Thought the name was Ant-Mid
I have obtained The Grand Budapest Hotel
I will watch it as soon as my s/o comes home

Been really interested in Wes Anderson films after I video I saw
My favorites are Fantastic Mr Fox and The Grand Budapest Hotel
Delightful movies
His newest movie is pretty good too
Grand Budapest Hotel is such a great movie
How bad was it?
I cant imagine itd be that bad
It looks meh at best
The trailer seemed alright at best. Thought it would lead to something good, there was some hype tbh
Or it perhaps was just a misleading trailer
I mean.. its not that uncommon..
well atleast it did seem more serious than the new Thor movie
just rewatched the trailer
I have no interest tbh

MCU burnout
ye thats understandable
I'll wait ten years or something. Lol
Sharkboy and lavagirl spoilers ||holy peak ||

Regular show the movie ||ngl the muscle man vs muscle man fight was funny af when muscleman slapped his nipples||
Truly the peak of peak
Zoomers and boomers could never understand…

Spitting but I think everyone understands
Lots of zoomers would understand
I don’t watch Disney channel anymore but I do know they no longer show bangers
DUDE
Johnny Tsunami
Brink
that one with the futuristic house
the famous jett jackson
I’m talking about luck of the Irish, the thirteenth year, HALLOWEEN TOWN
HALLOWEEN TOWN
dude I didn't realize until much later in life
that the grandma in that movie was carrie fisher's mom
Oh yeah rip Carrie fisher btw 🙏
top of the world baby!
Aly & Aj my queens, as well as my cheetah girl queens 👑
I watched a lil bit of that but that’s when I was growing out of Disney
yeah same adam
How old are you all
35
26
After checking Wikipedia, 2006 was the last year I was regularly watching Disney channel original movies
Peak
Stopped right in time for sharkboy and lavagirl tho
HSM is 2006
I’m so old I could die any second now
So that’s respect
yup 2004 is definitely the last year I saw disney movies
eddie's million dollar cook off was great too
Brink was 1998
Lemonade mouth bros?
The early 00's Disney movies were weird but fun
I remember seeing the Lizzie McGuire movie in theaters
the weirdest and my favorite was the cook off one
I saw the 1994 Lion King in theaters

Best WH40K movie we never got.
Also there's some nudity of sorts around the half of the video, sorry.
More movies like fight club American psycho shutter island?
poggers
probably taxi driver
Yea i was thinking about that
Is blade runner similar?
Haven't heard of any of these but noted thanks
I'm currently watching bb rn after that I'll take a break from the franchise ig
Then bcs
So that would take a month at least
Yea it is
In s5 ep 8 rn
Breaking bad ||tbh yeah i do feel a burn out many times it may be because I'm not accustomed to 45 min shows/bb is slow/I'm just not as motivated to watch the show||
I watched BB weekly, so it's the nostalgia that works in its favor for me
How long are them both?
Even though I've lost most of my love for it
Ahh
I'd prefer bb weekly too ngl it's not as good for binge watching imo
Soo kinda like each ep is way more inter connected than it is for a normal show?
I see
Miniseries is 1 season
It's usually a narrative that's somewhere between a movie and show in length
More time to explore the narrative more but with the scope of a movie, definite end
Third season is cool as well, though it tries to ape the first season a bit
Also a miniseries??
Each season is separate, Vedant, for true detective
Each season is its own narrative
Oh wow
Soo all 3 of your non movie recommendations are miniseries I'm assuming?
I think the way you explained that format works for me
Ooo
Yea
I like that genre specifically
Not really, it's a good concept maybe but it doesn't really execute it that well
The book is even wilder
Ooo
The movie is pretty good imo
The book is.. horrifying
Brett Easton Ellis really went all the way with it
The book isn't available in my region i would have to read online
My bus got canceled

If you can stomach the vast amount of vile things that is in the book then you can go for it
I will be here for a hot minute
I see
😔
I'm gonna try reading an early Pynchon novel fully in a short time coming
I was gonna watch The Grand Budapest Hotel last night but I had no time because my s/o decided to bring over friends and we ended up drinking and watching some random Indian soap opera (none of us speak hindu)
Oh I read it entirely
huh
It was cause of the ridiculousness of it all
The intense over-editing
17 zoom outs for the same action

Yeah
You remember the name?
Yeah, I'm curious about the soap opera
Also, Bollywood is not all Indian films
Its a term frowned upon
Just hindi
Even the Hindi filmmakers hate that term
It's a very bad term
Reeks of colonialism
Hindi is a language
Hindu a religion
Hindu is a follower of the faith Hinduism
Ah
All Hindi speakers aren't Hindu tho
Yeah
2 different things

It's not common ngl but it somewhat exists also It's not racist It's just them poking fun
Well, not going to get into any political stuff like that
Anyway
Back to Wes Anderson
I need to rewatch The Grand Budapest
Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya - रिश्ता लिखेंगे हम नया
Ooooooo
The series is entirely on YT I think
I am too old for this shit
You remember ye rishta kya kehlata h?
That marwari/rajasthani serial
It's probably a sequel

YO WHAT THE FUCK
We randomly decided to start watching from ep7 with 0 context and it was the funniest shit
LOL
I watched the new Antman movie yesterday
And then went to the pub with the friends i saw it with
It was a lot of fun even if I didnt like the movie
Yeah cause I was with like 7 friends in my apartment and I wanted to drink and watch something stupid

Shit was not good but I was still entertained
I'm avoiding watching ant man with my friends for a week now
I watch MCU movies with friends
Thor 4 made me lose all trust
Th4r
Fant4stic vibes
Real
Both trash
Mhm
Though Fant4stic is worse
For sure
I don't know how it was released
Oh speaking of bad movies
They destroyed my boy Dr Doom
Isn't DCEU over now
Fuck
The slate looks great
Thanks
I was surprised how good it looked
wait

this is better
in order
and from gunn himself
Superman
Supergirl
Batman and Damian (ew damian)
Wonder Woman miniseries
Booster Gold series
Creature Commandos series (animated)
Allen Waller series
Green Lantern show
Oh neat
They (Ezra Miller is non-binary so I'm respecting that) were truly that horrible
I like the idea of it changing from animated material and live action material
I think that'll be good
The flash movie is too big to have Ezra Miller being erased from it
It resets the DCU entirely to lead into the new slate
Kinda strange that it'll start with the Creatures and Commandos series along with the Allen Waller series

Isn't strange to me
True to how James Gunn operates, small scale teams getting focus
Oh I see
Guardians of the Galaxy were a D-list team in the scheme of the Marvel universe lol
Superman July 2025
The true A-tier team is X-Men
I really hope they don't botch X-men in MCU
lol
I really liked how they did Kang in the antman movie though
lending him true gravitas
Jonathan Majors also is incredible as Kang
I have impulsive thoughts to catch up on all of marvel comics but that sounds like hell
I know Hog is doing it
Hog is crazy
True
And he has not even touched the start of it
He's at Hulk
Trust me, I've read most of it and its not worth it
I'm in 1962 lol
I think
Hog you fuckin madman
March 1962
Close to Thor and Spidey debuts
Best stuff so far is w/e comics have Julius Schwartz as the editor lol
Spidey debuted in Amazing Fantasy #15 right?
a.k.a. The Flash, Green Lantern, Showcase/Brav and the Bold, Adam Strage and Justice League of America
Most of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Manhunter in the 1950s and 1960s is pretty meh to bad lol
Yep
Released in june 1962, then the magazine starts in december that year
Marvel is already showing they are doing something differnt from most of DC stuff
And I'm only 4 issues in with the FF lol
"Damian Wayne is my favorite Robin"
... uh oh
He's right tho...
Damian wins
🤨
Ended up becoming a reprint magazine till like the mid 1970s, which is when it actually got revived and popular
Wolverine my beloved
same
Almost as bad as Batman nowadays
I've also read X-Force and Cable
Wasnt that when the Ultimate universe came into play
Ah
I thought UX-M was bad
Well, badly written
Just torture porn of sorts
I just want one FF movie that isnt total shit lol
Wasn't there a FF MCU film in the works
Yes
Guardians of the Galaxy tho?
Is 5 people yeah lol
Ok phew
But if that can work
Thought I was getting amnesia
In the comics they are like 8 or even 9 I think
The OG modern team
Oh and Groot too of course, but doesnt fully join till a bit later
Adam Warlock and Phyla-Vell
Also
They were snubbed lol

iirc Adam is pretty fucking broken so I guess it makes sense lmao
Adam Warlock is the rival to Thanos
Hmm
Wasnt the OG Drax a rival of Thanos too? lol
Ye
Ah, Warlock is gonna debut on the 3rd movie, pog
I mean, maybe
Blade runner 2049 is the more "sigma" one
Stupid descriptor for a stupid trend
Good movies though, both of them
Legend of the vox machina s1e1 || yo wtf was that opening
||

Welcome
Vox machina ep 1 || daaaamn the guy named "Grog" is a drinking champ who woulda guessed ||
oh btw
all the main characters in the group were created by the voice actors who played them in the DND game livestream
all the NPCs are matt mercer's creations
also, welcome
Indeed, was gonna ping you when I finished the first ep

No wonder they sound so good
they played those characters in game for 5 years, so its lived in and they fit in naturally even now as creators of those characters
exandria is entirely a matt mercer creation
its a world that he built from scratch
Bruh the world feels dope
matthew mercers storytelling and worldbuilding is out of this world
Exactly kinda what I would look for in the first few minutes of a fantasy anime/cartoon
vox machina easily outshines all the other cartoons purely because so much detail and love was put into it by so many people
Anyways i will go back to watching
have fun
the creation myth for exandria is the most comprehensive creation story and history i think i've seen in any story in fantasy
harsh did you know taliesins in the op dub?
hawkins
fits well
matt taliesin faceoff real
yeah
by Eiichiro Oda and Toei Animation
Disclaimer: All Rights Goes To Toei Animation

amazing
love taliesin so much
watched a video yesterday on the cast in the last of us games, they're literally all there
only knew about travis, laura and ashley
Can critical role be entertaining for someone who doesn’t really care for dnd
yes
its just a really good fuckin story with high quality characters
not your thing if you prefer super high pace action packed though, you gotta be able to appreciate the small things and the general storybuilding if you know what I mean
i dont play dnd either but i really like critical role
Tbh I’d probably only watch it for the personalities of the people playing lol
Evan think of critical role like a story that isn't fully developed and any small die roll can change everything
It makes for hilarious situations
Well thats the main reason I like it
The cast of critical role are seriously some of the most talented creative people, they never fail to make incredible characters
