Halfway there through the Avatar movie ||I'm hyper aware of the writing problems so far, like how the wheelchair dude out of all men was the one person that the woman avatar could trust easily when it could've easily been all the others that participated in the Pandora venture that have been trained in the military to have lots of determination and guts. Lots of complications in terms of worldbuilding and inconsistencies I can see. Yet, I'm still enjoying the movie. I get the feeling this whole movie is just a whole introductory arc, with the sequels getting it into high gear. ||

Ok, the Avatar film was pretty ok. || Relatively simple film with a simple message. The whole movie suffers through pushing a big story with absurdly rushed developments. I laughed out loud when Jake Sully quickly got adjusted to the culture to the point where he already had sex with the female avatar, and then the female avatar got dramatic when things didn't go their way quickly thereafter. It's hard to feel the real developments, but you know what, the climax kinda made up for it. The general dude got what he deserved and the war was pretty sick to watch. Still relatively enjoyable and memorable even with massive problems. 😂 ||
I don't have hopes the next film will be better TBH, but I'm still interested in what kind of plot James will come up with next, even if there's half-baked plots.

CR C3 latest || to call it a bottle episode would mean it was entirely set in the fuckin terminal but they travelled quite a bit, Taliesin was on the money with calling it a "gas leak" because it just was them being chaotic and weird and hilariously funny all the way through. So I am at The Office S8E2 || and I think the show has just gotten better and better, S7 was my fav season. Ofc the show wont be the same without Michael, he was my fav character too but he had a great farewell and I would appreciate it if they didnt try to make it seem the same. So far, I think its still fine, feels fresh and new and I have always loved Andy so him getting more focus is great. I have always felt like the show wasnt a one man show and Pam, Jim, Dwight and Andy were great too, gonna see if they can carry the show on their own now, so far, so good.||
