DW S11 || It Takes You Away: okay I have pretty mixed feelings about this one. I thought the first half was a bit boring but it really picked up later. I liked the twist of the monster being fake though, i would’ve rolled my eyes if the threat was just a big unseen monster prowling around outside. The music was FANTASTIC this episode though, that whole sequence where everyone was getting sent away by the froggyverse was awesome, and the scene where the Doctor convinces the froggyverse to keep her instead of the moron dad is one of my favorite moments this season. Also the frog is hilarious I laughed. The dad is a fucking idiot though and I don’t know why he didn’t just take his fucking daughter through the portal. What a shit dad. ||

Doctor Who Season 11 || i have finished The Battle of Ranskor Av Kolos! I really enjoyed this episode, but i'm not quite sure what to make of it. It's definitely on the lower end of season finales for me. I thought the stenza plotline would be a bit more present throughout the season, but it pretty much just disappeared between the first episode and the finale. I love the Stenza's design though, pretty cool villain. The ux are interesting though naive for how advanced they are (i guess thats realistic 😔 ). Most of the episode was kind of middling, but Ryan and especially GRAHAM was the highlight. Graham is easily the best companion this season and it's not even a contest, and he especially stole the show this episode. Bradley Walsh is a phenomenal actor and was a total badass this episode. His plotline was also the only part to get any emotion out of me this episode, and normally i tear up at season finales. Miss me with that blegh "if you kill you genocidal psycho you are literally as bad as him" shit though. And they ended up giving him an eternal prison sentence instead 😑 All in all fairly enjoyable, but far from my favorite season finale. Season 11 is now complete. My season ranking is now tentatively 4>10>9>3>8>3>2>6>11>5>1>7||

The wire season 1 episode 5 || Started watching the wire checks time few hours ago....... I am enjoying it so far, there are payoffs at the end of every episode with the police department and the gang. I reached a part where the police is trying to figure out the pagers, everytime D Angelo calls someone a computer writes down the number and duration of their call, guessing it's for tracking every call the gangsters make, because they are trying to catch them in the act when they kill someone like they did with Snotty or when they smuggle heroin or cocaine. Agent McNulty so far is my favorite and the lieutenant as well, enjoying the show so far ||

Wednesday show S1E2 ||when I first heard of the show, I figured they could literally do no wrong as long as the character stays true to themselves…..and I stand corrected. I’ve enjoyed her antics so far, giving me Adams family vibes through and through (especially with Thing). Also liking how her visions may or may not be correct. It’s been fun thus far, CGI has been good and the lore dump is nice too||
