Take the doctor who s5 finale ||2 parts. First part is about every enemy of the doctor finally working together because the doctor is that infamous between them. So they lock him up in a mystery box which was set up super well within the series and the universe implodes.
Next ep is all about undoing the implosion, and in fact, logististically, it works super duper well (even setting up hints in previous episodes) but as an episode, it's super unstructured and leaves very little room to character development||
