There's no depth... and she's SO hotheaded to the point of recklessness and stupidity. I know it takes place before the LOTR times, but Galadriel is absolutely NOTHING like how she is portrayed in the books and the movies in ROP. This makes me excited to see how they take her character arc going forward but at the same time, she's already been alive for hundreds if not thousands of years. For her character to be THIS headstrong and wanting to hunt sauron, and then pivot 180 degrees at some point after the events of this story and turn into a different person entirely... Idk. It's not necessarily bad outright, but right now the execution is questionable.||
||On another note, I have serious issues with how she was able to slay a fucking troll in the first episode while her war hero brother died to a couple of orcs. AND the elf in the trenches in episode 3, the fight with the worg & the orcs there was also weird. Idfk. They got the scaling all fucked up||

ATLA ||the more episodic pace of S1 (especially the episodes before Winter Solstice) definitely helps to set up the building blocks for the rest of the series, which would explain why its a bit slower paced or weaker than the rest of the series - it's meant to be that way||
