okay so like, in The Problem with Apu, Hari Kondabolu says that Apu is straight up a bad depiction of indian culture, but it's different when the simpons is essentially a microcosm of american culture as a whole, with a bunch of stereotypes to boot. The Big Bang Theory doesn't really have that, so it's just the harmful stereotype
