Hello people, I've recently started drawing (I used to in school which then I was dreadful at drawing and still am) and today I've sat down and started drawing again lol. I have the art skills of a 6 year old and would like some little tips, in bit aiming to draw characters straight away so I'm aiming towards items and objects at the moment so I've sat down and am doing the basics... Shapes.

im not terribly good myself but using simple references is quite good

the biggest thing thats helped me so far is actually doing poses myself & taking pictures & then redrawing myself or whatever

helps learn how the body moves/is positioned

And it means that each character will have two artworks, a standard and an evo
