ignore this if you don't like my tweaks but for the color: I would choose more desaturated colors for the shadows, idk what the term actually is but your colors are kinda washed out since they are so saturated. Anatomy wise you need to give hornet a dump truck down there for the eye candy.

Learned this from someone, if youre using an object as a reference, draw the negative space around it for the rough shape then just fill in

copying the object or hand in this case is like tracing but with your eyes, studying it is different because you are breaking the object down into shapes and learning how it behaves like the structure and proportions

I tried to look it up and found some more art that was posted with those same images on some insta acc. One that really stood out to me was this bc of his belt, it was never an "R" and no part of his name starts with that letter anyway
