it's pretty intimidating but I think it makes the most sense since that's what makes up the shapes of the body and how it moves
it definitely doesn't have to be too detailed as in the fibers or such I'd say

I think @winged yew would be more qualified to advise how to learn to draw the body

But understanding the fundamentals of anatomy and how everything in the world can be broken down into a combination of simple shapes (sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, pyramid) is key. Here is a breakdown with feet. This is just one of a variety of options when breaking down the foot into smaller shapes.

Don't be afraid to draw toes. Here is a recent example of a foot I drew.

next time you can do a light guide lines/sketch before inking
and there's a reason you always see artists back away from their drawing once in a while
