Guys, i don't feel good today..

I saw this post of an artist getting congrated by the Steven Universe crew for they degree at Art and Animation. What really bothers is that they are my age (24) and on a week i'll be 25 i haven't reached anything!! Maybe im not practicing hard enough?? It is something wrong with my work? Im so angry and frustated that im doubting to quit drawing or not.

Is getting a degree on Art and Animation the only way to get noticed in this world or what?

you just need to market well to a decent size community and again, find enough audience that is willing to pay for your stuff.

ive been doing art for the better part of my entire life, yet i still feel like im nowhere near good enough to be called an artist

when you should just focus on your own stuff

look at your past work, and then find ways to make them better
find things you need to improve on, and research how, practice

everyone is improving at different rates though
some understand the material better than others and some take longer to apply it to their own work
some people draw quicker and make decisions faster instead of taking their time to perfect every part of the drawing
but they're not tryna improve every single area at the same time, they do it one at a time like one day they practice hands or the other day it's the torso
that's how u learn quicker because its a smaller topic to learn
also when it comes to posting, composition matters, some art pieces get over a thousand likes yet it's just a small doodle but if the composition is good enough then ppl will like it
it's also that ocs and tiny fandoms don't get as many likes as fandoms like this where there's a huge community
I also found that finding mutuals on social media like twt and insta helps because they're more likely to promote the art ykwim
idk there's a lot I haven't even said but the others said a lot of rlly good advice too
