Just draw something that you like for your own designs. If you try too hard to be unique and different, then you can easily end up with edgy weirdness that nobody likes (including you). There's a reason certain type of designs get used over and over again and again by almost everyone. Because they are good. Just don't flat out copy anything.
There's also nothing wrong with a homage.

nah I'm not talking about a timelapse or wips, I'm talking about the original file that has the layers of the artwork on them
because it's unlikely people paint on one layer unless they have a unique workflow/challenge

having the actual file with separate layers is the most concrete way to prove you've made a piece

Oh yeah I genuinely had no idea how to layer I just drew n if I fucked up i deleted my line work I had it if I remember to save the second I put my tool down n stop when I’m done they just how I worked so yeah idk what to tell you
