try to use a pencil instead of a pen so you can erase ykyk
the advice here might be wrong so take it with a grain of salt
the shoulders are a bit too low
you can use circles for the legs at the hip area (like in the visual ref)
the ref here is how i usually sketch out male bodies, for female you can use a sphere for the torso considering the curves (females tend to be more curvy than men, hence why i used a box for the torso here)

try different techniques from artists you like. i would say you could also invest in better colour pencils (which helps too) but you could even make dollar store pencils look good. also, use better colours like the trees are a very bright green. you get what i mean?

For something like this you can research how people render scales with coloured pencil, how to nail down wood, add population to grass, build tone

you get more practice, more experimentation, and there's less stress in making things since they're only for trial

But of course, you can go back to previous steps

So do I need to transfer some quantity in a separate bottle to use, or can I use it straight away from this bottle?
Meaning will it get damaged/dry off in the bottle faster if I use it straight from this bottle

I think you can just go straight from the bottle but if you’re using twigs you’ll get dirt in it. Wouldn’t hurt to move some aside to a different container and try it there first
