The pants are not being affected by gravity basically, which is what would naturally happen with them. Even in the example you provided, they are being affected by gravity, which is why there is almost no puffing up happening near his waist, because the pants are naturally being pulled down. If he sat with those same pants, they should fall down a bit and flatten a bit more like with Luffy.

Here is a figure of Usopp with his post-ts pants. Notice how flat they feel with him sitting? Most pants, even balloon ones, do not puff up much while sitting, but instead are affected by gravity and that pulls everything down.

you cant have his whole body the same color

use this on some references

not 100% accurate as each brand has different colors

but it will def help

and again

make sure you do the coloring process very very slow

on circular rotations, gently

try to experiment

to this in traditional

find where the light would hit

and where the shadows would be

once you do that you color it

once you master this you can move to texture

as for texture theres many ways you can do

but for now do this for sure

if you need any other tips lmk
