try learning the basics of drawing circles in perspective, which are called "ellipses." Even veterans mess them up from time-to-time. The lens on that camera is an example of an ellipse.

The Little Girl in the Garden
Within a dream, a little girl played in her garden. It was a beautiful garden, filled with flowers, ponds, and streams, and a vast locked door at its edges. The girl's favorite part, however, was the rivers— four wondrous rivers of different colors, that always flowed around the lone table at the center of the garden, where a large Snow Globe sat. The girl shook the Snow Globe every day, and marveled at the falling snowflakes inside the glass dome. The girl was often alone in the Garden, or last that was how it had been for some time. Four friends had played with her once in the Garden, but they had been chased away by hungry lizards, and dove back into the rivers she had first pulled them from. They resurfaced eventually, when the lizards went away, but yet again were chased away, this time by the flowers of the Garden, who the girl tried to stomp on, to no avail. She could never bring harm to the things inside Garden, and once again, was all alone. The days that followed had been stormy, with rains of black stone and sickly green snow. The girl had seen numerous strange and unnatural flowers begin to sprout as well, and it was times like these she reminisced about her favorite flowers. She had remembered how the nine flowers she had favored had vanished from her garden one by one, just like the only lizard she ever considered nice, which to had left her alone in the Garden. Unwilling to accept her loneliness, the girl decided to re-invite her four friends. Running down to the rivers, which now had become vast lakes after the many storms, the little girl pulled her four friends to the surface one by one. In her haste and excitement, she never noticed that they weren't quite the same friends she had played with before, and if the little girl had turned around as she walked her companions to the Garden's only table, she would have seen the first beginnings of a new set of storms on the horizon. But Ea, the World Soul of Agora, did not turn around. As she welcomed a new set of Element Lords into her world, she had no idea that the Garden's tranquility would be broken by the storms of the new era, and that Agora's eleven years of peace would soon be coming to an end.

embed is referring to embedding perms, which in this server aren't given until you are level 10. Basically, you cant send an image, gif and any links wont embed (ie showcase the destination of the link before) until you get that role
Artist role just allows people who aren't level 10 to embed and post their art, hence the DM a staff requirement. You can also then get pinged by the role which some of the staff use for little events

I'm still aiming for a sub 1000 position. I've seen people hit position #400 in a month, which is terrifying knowing that I've been posting here for several months at a casual but regular pace and I'm only level 27. They had to leave nearly 10,000 comments in the span of a few weeks which makes me worried for them and their (likely lack there of a) social life.

Here's the progress on my Buddy Champ Champ time skip. Fuckin love Buddy Champ Champ. He's Oda-esque character quirk is that his grandma told him that growing boys need a lot of sleep to grow up big and strong so he gets 22 hours of sleep a day, but during the 2 hours a day he is away, he is insanely strong and fast, brimming with energy. He is also 40 so he definitely isn't a growing boy any more but no one was around to tell him that when his grandma died an left him alone.

He also talks just like Mr Frog from Smiling Friends, and says "Hello" and "Sorry" at the start and end of almost every sentence

If you're not gonna draw a background, I think 1 easily takes the cake. Something about the gun being in focus and nothing but the character behind makes for a nice impact. While 2 seems too busy in front with two weapons crossed. Maybe if the character has some sort of a special thing in the face, it would work, as there would be a triangle of focus then. (idk, a glowing eye etc)

If you're gonna draw a background, I think 1 has the potential to feel empty, while the second could just make a cool balanced picture.

It's a good start, but I might straighten the legs just a bit, I don't think the shins usually curve that much. Fingers on the hand closest to us are becoming slightly like sausages; you simply need to just draw them a little more carefully while looking at references again (it takes time, hands are hard). There may be a length issue with the upper legs or maybe a girth issue, it's kind of hard to see since the photo is so washed out, but either the upper legs are slightly too short, or too thin.

Oh, it also looks slightly unnatural to have the left leg in profile view and the right leg turned. Even if humans can do that, it feels weird.

His left leg in the statue is more dynamically bent, you didn't bend yours enough is one thing I'm noticing.

That statue's position does look odd to me though.
