Often when I’m in a situation where I’m waiting to draw, I’m more excited by the anticipation than actually starting. When I have time I imagine what I could be drawing instead of doing it

Key thing to keep in mind: Never rely on inspiration when creating art. If you feel inspired, sure, go ahead and create what your heart desires. But, first and foremost, raw talent and skill built up by years of hard work and experience will allow you to draw well whether you're inspired or not. In that situation, you would never have to worry about waiting for the muse to strike because you would already be confident enough in your skills to create what you need to create.

If you lost the interest or you don’t feel inspired to draw, you can take a little break! You can still practice and that to improve your skills

Gotta find joy in the process not just the result. As I got better I found more and more joy in different aspects of art practice like learning through books or drawing from life or simply observing the world around me. I find at the times when I’m dissatisfied with my art, I ignore issues in the more foundational stages because I want the finished thing instead of focusing on how to get there
It can be hard when you’re younger or just starting out—it’s like a muscle you train. Muscles need rest and time to grow. Switching off completely for a bit helps as long as you bounce back

I've been at this for over a decade professionaly, with 4 years art college prior, and a love for art all of my life. It simply takes tons and tons of time to get good and not have to worry about getting the results you want. Even pros still struggle. You're not alone.

I mean I've been told that, but I cant seem to end up not worrying about it. Like everytime I was drawing I would just feel pressured because im wasting my time or not improving at the right speed, and that I was doing something wrong. Yes. This is the classic instagram trap when it comes to people looking at other people's lives in general. You're comparing your behind the scenes reel to their showcase reel, but they never post the bullshit part of their lives (which of course they, like all humans, have). Same applies to artists. I know a LOT of professionals, many who've made your favorite films from the LOTR to Matrix to Disney feature films. Even when you see all their great art, the one thing you're not seeing is the thousands of frustrating hours they spend working on their craft. You are not alone, I promise. All these great aritsts struggled back then, and even as pros today they still struggle in various aspects of art.

I guess the other confusing part of that to me, is that the way I end up looking at it, is that their struggle still pays off with something they are proud of or something they are happy with.
I just, wasnt getting that finished product I was remotely happy with, so in the end I was just struggling and not making that final piece that makes the struggle of 100 failed things worth it.

How does one grab inspiration without inevitably comparing?

Be inspired by film, animation, books and life itself (seeing new locations, architecture, etc.). There is more than just looking at other artists. HOWEVER, that comes with a caveat: you will eventually compare yourself. The trick is to not feel deflated by it, but instead to feel empowered by it. Instead of saying "i'll never get that good" look at it is "this mofo got that good, I can get that good in my own way. I HAVE to create now, this guy/gal's work lit a flame under my butt to get better."

Looking at artists that have passed away can help as well, despite how morbid that sounds. I find that I don't compare myself to the old masters, but rather get inspired by the legacy they left behind.

i think those cheaper cintiqs have worse colors than kamvas. Kamvas costs less than cintiq for what you get. Lot of cintiq models don't have keys and included mount(still more expensive than kamvas).
