where was this shot at? the sky is so clear

that mountain in the distance is the highest in Slovenia. It's called Triglav. We were lucky with the sky being clear. This year I'm planning on going again to take pictures of the geminids from the same spot

The thing is that you can't see half as many stars on the pictures. In person it was literally more stars than empty space. Unimaginable tbh

you can use maps like this to find places that have less light pollution. These pictures were taken in an area that's dark green on this particular map. So anything that is dark green or blue here should be good enough
