because its just getting you ready for the upcoming emotional rollercoaster centered around friction and the strawhats relationships

but then the anime adding what irl would be like multiple weeks or on a binge like extra 2 and a half hours of stuff that isnt servicing the plot holds it back as a story

Her arc (that I fell in love with) is a very mature and powerful message and it tackles it with the level of care it deserves. Seeing Robin's struggles of depression, and isolation, and hatred of herself and wanting to die.. It's just all someone can relate to. and I've also experienced something similar with what happened to Ohara just like her, although I'd never been through as much as what she went through. Robin showed me that no matter how tough life feels my problems are very small and I could get through them one day no matter how big they seem to me.
