I didn't see it coming at all, looking back, there are so many foreshadows, like how she broke her promise to bring Sanji to the seaside etc, while Big Mom's children all know about this plan. I could attribute it to their information gathering skills, but of course, Pudding telling them is the most direct way.
It got to a point where I was hoping she would become Sanji's wife, and they'd both board the Thousand Sunny together after Wholecake Island.
That scene where Pudding boasts to Reijyu about how stupid Sanji is, while the act itself is stupid on Pudding's side, was heartbreaking. Sanji deserves love so much my goodness
