I have no idea why my messege was deleted. It took me a couple minutes to write that out. I will rewrite it

Certain menus won't open up when doing /dmenu open ( name of menu ), but they will open when I do /( name of menu ). Another issue is that the menu's are not allowing me to open one menu to another.

just to make sure you are aware, /<menu_name> is not the same as /dm open <menu_name>

when you type /menu its because that is the defined open_command inside the menu

the actual menu name used in /dm open <menu_name> is what you have defined in your config.yml

same thing that should show up with /dm list

the menus not allowing you to open another is a little weird, but I would suggest using the [openguimenu] <menu_name> action and that might help

FAQ Answer:

1. Go to config.yml and make an entry for your menu

gui_menus:
  first:
    file: first_menu.yml
  second:
    file: second_menu.yml

2. Reload the plugin twice with /dm reload
3. You will see a new folder called gui_menus and your menu should be there
4. Open that menu and edit it to set it up or use the community-made menu maker
5. You are done! Open the menu in-game with /dm open first
