It doesn't show in chat or tab

I would recommend using LPC, it's much better than EssentialsChat and you get less issues like this.

LPC pretty much works out of the box, you may need install Player & Vault expansion if placeholders don't parse.

...and before you ask about 1.20 support, just try it. Sometimes plugins don't need updates to work on newer versions.

You just need to add %deluxetags_tag% in the LPC config. 🙂
