I've been working on a component-based inventory library in Kotlin. It's kind of inspired by Jetpack Compose and MineInAbyss/guiy-compose however I hate Jetpack Compose so I decided to make my own thing from scratch.
The main idea is that instead of manually positioning and sizing different elements and items, that is handled for you behind a declarative API. There are two main APIs, Column and Row which provide layouts similar to flexbox rows or columns and support most of the same arrangements (start, space-between, space-evenly, center).
Currently only item components are reactive, so layouts are currently only static, however this should be really simple and I just need to get around to it. Ping me or smth if u have any questions or feedback thx

Snowstorm compatibility!
In order to be able to take advantage of the vast array of existing particle effects used in Bedrock, a Snowstorm -> Comet converter has been in the works! In the videos I show effects i took from Snowstorm and just copy pasted settings into a file, which Comet converted to its own format. No hardcoding was done in order to accomplish this, and all of the movement, coloring, size changes, etc was converted from a snowstorm file!
there's a lot of things to improve here of course, and since these configs are made for different games there's some tweaking that still needs to be done, along with optimization.
some interesting technical details for anyone interested:

I've been making Spigot plugins for years and i've never managed to find an Inventory API that meets my expectations.

I've just released a new version of my Minecraft plugin made for streamers. I really would appreciate it if some minecraft Twitch streamer would like to try it out. It's open-source and compatible with pretty much all modern Minecraft versions.
This plugin aims to make streams more interactive. Viewers are able to jump in and fire events through channel points, cheers, subs and more. It also comes with some extra features as an in-game stream chat
Instead of studying for my exam, i added these new features!
- Placeholder support for colors and etc..
- Copy blocks mechanic
- and you cant paint if you do not have enough durability! (still using old durability system)
- you can assign colors to blocks in palette.yml which can automatically set the brush's color and particle color to that color
(also modrinth is still underreview so ill drop this update once i implement the patterns feature)

What should I add to spice this GUI up? This will be the framework for all my server GUIS, took a while to come up with a color theme, 1 thing you should note, my server is called "ToadSMP" and my branding is jungles & frogs/toads.
Added animation placeholders in EasyPlaceholders... nothing more to say, its a bit slow and a bit buggy but thats a future me problem <3 and idk if its PAPI or minecraft that limits the performance without shaders, idk ill check it out more next week anyways ly <3

Slapped together a lil container locking and lockpicking system, thoughts?
The goal was to make a lockpicking system that was challenging enough for players to not easily be able to access the stuff of others, but not totally impossible.
If you listen closely, the sound pitch is a little different when you hover over the correct "pins", which hints at you successfully locking a pin in place. The more advanced the lock, the smaller the valid area and the harder it is to hear a difference. If you're not skilled enough, you won't be able to pick it at all.
But, you can also brute force your way through a lock. If you do enough damage to a lock (in 1 hit) it breaks immediately

Just made pretty simple setups packer.
Using this plugin I can import/setup packs from the same place.
Features:
- Always up-to-date packs - when you remove a pack, it automatically removes all config files from all other plugins (MythicLib, MythicMobs, MMOitems, MMOcore, Modelengine, etc.)
- Automatic pack generation - many packs from different vendors are meant to be used using different plugin, Ive basically completely skipped that and made my own system to generate a resource pack for me which is also automatically being uploaded to Nexo which then applies the pack to players. Using this I can also easily generate models for basic items, bows, etc. using a few lines.
- Extra organization of files - there are no limits of file organization in my plugin, loads of plugins do not offer that and I know that it is key to have all packs organized as much as possible
- Centralized configs - the plugin works as a centralized system of all packs, you dont have to go over X different plugins anymore to upload different stuff, this is all handled by the plugin itself
- Resource Pack Logic - as the plugin is mainly done for my purposes, I do know what settings are needed and which not. Because of that I have achieved making models so simply that you basically do not have to learn anything. You do not even have to update paths of textures in the json files, my plugin handles that for you!
Spent my time adding 192 chair variants (each woodtype and wool combination. It's 193 if you include the animated chair) through ItemsAdder... Yes, it was painful to do, thanks for asking...

Since I couldn't find any good chunk claim plugin that could do what I needed did I make one myself.
It uses worldguard behind the scenes to make regions and to also check for overlapping ones.
More specifically this plugin:
- Checks that you have a specific item in your inventory (A "Claim Permit")
- Checks that the area you want to claim (3x3 chunks) doesn't overlap with any other region
- Checks that you don't have a claim already (with support for extra claims to be unlocked)
- Creates the region with all necessary flags applied, including a greeting title (Also, sets you as the member of the region. Not sure if Owner would be better tho)

Techno Statue
Hello everyone, I wanted to share this update with all of you as it has consumed much of my development for the past while. A big concern with Comet has always been the issue of packet data, and while this will always be something to worry about with serverside functionality such as this, I've spent a decent while researching polyline simplification algorithms, optimizing packet update times and taking advantage of interpolation to achieve similar results to constant updates. While the solution isn't perfect it has allowed for a fully automatic 3x reduction in packet data from any naive approach for even complex effects with changing color, transparency, scale, rotation, up to an order of magnitude for simpler effects. It's not perfect and I will likely revisit it in the future, but it marks a shift of focus as Comet will now be focusing on maximizing Snowstorm and plugin compatibility.
For anyone unfamiliar, Comet is a particle engine plugin for Minecraft Java, currently quite feature complete and supporting almost everything that Bedrock's particle engine, Snowstorm, supports, in addition to some more advanced features.

Simple plugin MobHead that puts on top of head by 0.9 blocks a mob a user specifies in config under custom name & follows player left and right head rotation and worlds. It all saves under each player UUID file yml and it also leaves and joins with the player. Like a cute tiny pet :)

Posting a throwback to 2020, in a time where my creativity was really high, I had the fantastic idea to create an SMP/Storylined-adventure based minecraft server that had become a very grand obession of mine. Everything was and had to be mint perfect to the way i envisioned the NEXON game, MapleStory was: in both feel and asthetic.

A discord bot that simulates a stablecoin ecosystem with multi-wallet support linked to Minecraft usernames. It lets users register wallets, mint and redeem tokens, transfer balances, convert between regular and yield-bearing coins, and track everything in detailed dashboards. Admins can approve or deny registrations and transactions, rename or delete wallets, wipe balances, delete all wallets, toggle yield globally, freeze all user operations, update yield balances, and run a daily yield job. When user registers a wallet, it calls for mojang api to valiate the username, therefore with that it calls minotar api, grabbing the skin, if its all valid it creates the wallet.

Per-Player Damage Percentages made via MythicMobs, ExecutableEvents, & SCore.
Usage:
A player will damage the mob and based on the damage percentage. If its under a certain threshold (~5%) it will not give the user rewards while those who did over the damage threshold will get a drop. It resets the variables on death to ensure users who did not fight the boss do not get rewards.

i'm working to expand my Comet plugin to focus on more procedural and dynamic vfx, and a major part of that will be things that can interact with your world. this is 3 weeks of progress so far:
- collisions between convex and concave mesh pairs (these cubes and the minecraft world), solving with sequential ipmulses
- scale-able cuboids (not shown in showcases but fully supported)
- friction (disabled in last video to show gyroscopic effect)
- gravity
- wip but quite stable with rk4 integration (stacking works, mild jitter for now though)
- accurate angular momentum w/ gyroscopic effect
- 50 tightly packed objects (by far worst case scenario) all on main thread incur about 5 MSPT on my 2021 mac, many optimizations to come as performance has not been the main focus so far
- various debugging tools and raycast-impulse application

So i created a set of menus called Coinsmith using Deluxemenus. It is basically a bank where you can trade your money for coins. Although there are cooldowns and you need a licence to access the bank. (i bypass the requirements in the video)
You can get a higher tier which allows you to trade more coins at once with the same cooldowns but with higher fees. Getting a higher tier requires coins and a minimum amount of trades done before.
I want to know what you all think about it. 🤔
I made it for my server where i wanted players to access coins without getting them through the store only. This way it makes the server non p2w and also rewards the grinder!

I rewritten my media library (previously EzMediaCore) and created a sandbox plugin that uses it behind the scenes. It's able to play videos, browsers, and virtual machines onto maps, text displays, blocks, chat messages, and scoreboards. It supports YouTube, Twitch, SoundCloud, and thousands of other websites for media.
For audio, it supports streaming to a full-stack server or to a Discord voice channel. In the video, I used Spring Boot to send the PCM audio packets to the front-end, which is written in TypeScript and React/Next/Tailwind.

Using a Python script I made, I was able to automate the process of creating a YAML file containing the over 400 furnitures I now have (192 Chairs, 12 Office tables, 192 Tables and some other stuff).
Was surprisingly fun creating that script.

I managed to find a way to use the new object chat component in the latest snapshot with custom textures (and without items).
This may not sound impressive, but MC right now has a bug where custom atlas files won't be loaded by the client, meaning you can't make your own.
Instead what I did was copy an existing MC atlas and added a new entry to it. Strangely enough, this entry does not allow (or at least shouldn't have) any namespaces applied for source or prefix...
In my case did I add this to the blocks.json atlas:

prefix determines the final "sprite" path in the tellraw.
Funny enough, you can put the textures in their own namespace and they will work, so whatever MC does in atlases, it seems to ignore namespaces and support all files and folders?
Either way, this allowed me to add assets/test/textures/interaction/right_click.png and assets/test/textures/interaction/left_click.png to the resource pack, load it and then call the object text component with test:interaction/... as "sprite" value.

Project I'm working on for fun in my free time using Minestom.
It's meant to be like a modpack but without any mods. It's inspired by modpacks such as Regrowth and SkyFactory, where the end goal would be to fix the world.
Some features:
- Floating debris you collect to get items
- Sifters (dust blocks, dirt, sand, gravel)

- Machines/Power (Currently only solar panel, cable, and cobblestone generator)

I've decided to make this open source because I figured it may help some people with stuff they're working on (for example if they want to look at specific features), and college starts up again soon so I'll have less time to work on it.

Got bored so i made a AITA Shorts generator, place your story & title, it analyze it via AI, use ElevenLabs to grab the Audio, Use OpenAI to parse the subtitles, selects a random background video i have saved. it will then break the story up into 1 minute videos and then process. i've been improving the performance of my physics engine(written in Kotlin!), this is a pile of 1000 objects being simulated at 20 TPS on an M1 mac, and there is still considerable room to improve
I needed the dominant hex colors for Minecraft materials for a project but couldn’t find anything, so I put this together myself.
- Every vanilla texture is mapped to its dominant hex color.
- Each Material enum is also mapped to its corresponding hex color.
They're both available in individual JSON files.

, a fully compile-time annotation processor for generating Brigadier command source files during build time. In contrast to other frameworks, you do not have to shade the library, as all needed code is generated. It also has 0 overhead due to no reflection calls. Just pure logic. It supports all versions from Paper 1.21.1 to 1.21.8, with support for every native argument type. It also supports custom arguments, custom suggestion providers, and more! Make sure to check out the project's README and documentation for more details.
With my latest 1.3.0 Update (https://github.com/Strokkur424/StrokkCommands/releases/tag/v1.3.0), I have introduced subcommands using nested classes and record-type classes for common arguments.

For anyone that was interested, I switched form using DeluxeMenus to Skript for my Froggy Arcade Cabinet clone. It's working better now. Went from a 4000 line Deluxe Menu config file to a 400 line Skript file.

Showcase of the decor/structure placement system for the island expansion system!
Due to the gamemode being in adventure mode, players won't be able to place things down like in traditional MC. I wanted an intuitive and smooth system which allowed them to place things down on their island. This was what I came up with!
It supports blocks that give off light, and blocks that require rotation. The movement is done via BlockDisplays w/ interpolation.
NOTE: While the showcase only shows single blocks, the actual decor/structures they will be placing down will include multiple blocks (usually)

Hey everyone! 2 weeks ago Ive started working on my own worlds system.
First of all, previously Ive wanted to simply make Paper Patches in order to achieve that, however Ive made it just as a plugin.
What Ive achieved:
- Disabling whole regions saving/loading
- Hooking up my completely own system for saving & loading, using which I can register my own Drivers
- Additionally Ive hooked up own format! YES, you can now create your very own format of worlds without any kind of limitations, without having to fork paper & such, this is directly done thru plugin.
- Worlds are being created/loaded completely async (1k worlds created in 20 seconds with single TPS lag)
P.S.
I havent made any kind of optimized format, that you can probably even see in the video.
Ive currently done in-memory world, that is directly saved with block state IDs without any kind of indexing nor compression, so have this in mind.
To be honest it made me really proud I could have achieved such thing even with such limitations of NMS and with spottedleaf code (which made me cry
)
I personally had to read dozens of different classes to figure out the best way of how to handle such thing.

It uses the "target block" peripheral from the CC: C Bridge mod to read the status of the signals to read and display.

Jonion is a lightweight, flexible plugin framework for Java applications. It comes with sensible defaults so you can get started immediately:

Cinematic 
Not very good at making a showcase video, but I made a fully custom block breaking system quite some time ago and recently rewrote and refined it for a friend who wanted to use it on his personal server.
It was made to work with MMOItems (custom stats that decide damage values and such), MythicMobs (custom mechanic to trigger block damage) and other things. Could easily change this to work with any other plugin or just read lore/data from item instead. The damage dealt is based on your attack charge (so full charge = full damage)
The entire point of the system is that you have to tap blocks (usually ores and other special blocks, otherwise this would probably be a bit annoying xD). It has support for Critical hits, Sweetspot hits and other things.
Most notable is the drop system, which supports sharing the loot based on the amount of damage dealt by each player (30/70% would split the loot 3:7 and gamble the remainders based on your % as a chance) (It also supports custom items from other plugins without problems)
[Also supports commands to be run as a drop :D and stuff like MMOCore Professions XP, etc]
It was super fun to make this and I'm glad I accomplished it without too many issues. It also runs super smooth, breaking 1000s of blocks with vein mining barely raises MSPT at all (which surprised me honestly xD)
This has a lot more small features and difficult to explain them all in in one post (I probably forgot a lot of stuff already anyway)
The health boss bar is actually not part of this plugin but another small plugin I made that just listens to the custom events the tapbreak plugin emits.
If there would be any serious interest in a plugin like this with even more customizability I would probably be interested in sharing this, but I think this is too specific for anyone to want to use it in their server environment.
Also feel free to ask me any questions anywhere, I love talking about this stuff, especially since I am still kinda new to Java & plugin development :D

i have been working on this for a while and finaly got a stable+working version of a java to bedrock conversion for custom rank/font etc texture packs,
It takes all the images from the textures folder and the default.json from the font folder checks what unicode it is (it needs to be high enough so i made the rank generator now default e+0200 instead of e_+000) and makes a working bedrock texture pack for you at a single click
created a staff to go with it, it has a driping animation but its not in the gif. anyways im happy with the output!
What do you think of this? Is it good?

what is this exactly?
basically, this is a code editor for our server's level system, which we designed similarly to steam workshop. players are able to create levels and code custom functionalities in it. for example, they can create files in the editor which they can listen to several events, or they can create trigger blocks in game that can do several actions when triggered (for example, when a player walks on it) which is shown in video.
why not skript?
well, you can always use skript to code your own experiences, but it's not what we are achieving with this project. skript is to enhance the experience for your own server. this project, on the other hand lets you create your own levels for our server, build it as you wish, code custom functionalities in it using lua (which is way simpler than coding plugins in java and publish it without having much technical knowledge) with the resources our server offers, such as custom blocks, items, mechanics etc. which we already use in our official experiences (these will be community made levels, remember?)
