Heya. Im looking for some information on backing up. And how others do this. Atm we're using the FTBUtils backup. But its horrifically slow and impacts the server greatly. We wanted to do a manual batch job. Which i've automated to do with 7zip on a set number of cores. However its complaining about file locks. After some reading, I hear a lot of solutions do a "/save-off" and then "/save-all" before the copy or zip operation. But it's still complaining some files are locked. Is this OK? How do others handle this?

No no I used the programmer art texture pack(the other default texture pack) and then one day I was having a lot of lag and frame drops and the textures were different

Hi, sorry if this is not the correct channel or server, but I have asked elsewhere and yet to find a solution.

When I join my server, it goes through the normal messages like "Connecting to server", then "Logging in" and then "loading terrain." The problem is it is getting stuck on loading terrain. The only way to make it stop is to click "Esc", and when that happens it finally logs me into the server.

Things to note:

It appears as if I am in the void for about 30 seconds, then chunks load
My ping when I first join the server is always over 1000.
Slowly recedes to 150, without loading any new chunks, which is still 100+ above my usual ping.
Loading any new chunks will send my ping shooting up to 1000+ again.
When I chat when I join, mine and all players messages come super late (like you would usually see with super high ping)
For the above point though, it seems to only be my client. The messages come through on the DiscordSRV, which I can see clearly and quickly (therefore not my internet, maybe my client, maybe the server.)

So after trying to fix it with some different solutions, including using a VPN, resetting my router to get a new IP, joining the 2G stream of my wifi instead of 5G, etc. Still, nothing worked.
Fully deleted all data related to LabyMod and Minecraft, fully redownloaded everything, tried joining on default minecraft, Optifine, LabyMod, still having the same problem, every other server working perfectly fine, if not better after I redownloaded my client.

We do have Multiverse installed, so I thought maybe it might have been only one world, but the problem still occurs on every single world we have loaded (so it is not any issue with world respective player data.)

Honestly, I have no clue where else to ask, so I thought I would try here, every other player is working fine, no problems at all, i am at a dead end.
