I know ServerListPlus uses ip's to manage what motd and server logo the initial-handler gives them. I assume it'd be somewhat similar.

you can make a plugin for that it just has to store all the IPs because you can't get a player from IP.

Unfortunately I don't have the coding knowledge to do so myself, so I figured I'd search and ask around hoping there is already one made.

but it depends on what you want players to be able to do. for example on kitpvp, you probably want to give them access to some kits, but maybe they have to earn access to others, factions they sohuld have access to use the default factions commands, bewars, they should be able to join games, etc

you could post in #805698761442590730 for that but it depends on what plugins you use, and what you want players to be able to do. Its probably a bad idea to let someone else decide what permissions your players should have. Each plugin you have likely has a list of permissons on their spigot page / wiki. I suggest you read through them and see what each permission does, then decide if a player should be allowed to do that

again perms depend on what you want your players to be allowed to do. The plugin's devs will make everything permission based, and tell you what permissions are available and what each permission does, but its up to you to decide if you player should have a specific permission.

Usually when you first download a plugin, thats one of the first things you do. Take a look at the permissions and assign them as you see fit

I've used random teleport plugin, whenever I type /rtp it teleports me to the same location.

I have 2 different world, the spawn world then for the survival world. When typing /rtp in spawn world teleports me to a same spot in survival

im not sure if im at the right place but i have a small dilemma related to minecraft. i want to join my friends' survival minecraft world , so i downloaded the java demo to see if it would run on my laptop. (its pretty old, i think like a hp elitebook with windows 7) so i got the demo loaded and after messing around with the settings a bit, i got it to run at 30-35 fps. i think i can bring it up to the low to mid 40's, as i didnt lower everything that i could have. but anyways if i ended up buying java all i would use it for is single player minecraft, maybe some online servers, and playing on my friends' server (9 people on it as of now). so i guess what i've been asking this whole time is would i be able to run multiplayer smoothly? like i know theres no definite answer until i buy it but i dont really wanna drop 30 dollars on it and it just not working. okay sorry for the long comment

You could either setup a local server , or buy a server from a host, I'd recommend Nitrous Networks for a cheap server 1.5 players 2gb ram for £4 a month. Decent for a Dev/muck about server

happens. but most recipes you'll find on google as well and that's a more isntant response.

just google for example minecraft lantern recipe and it will most likely be in the first 3 images
