๐ it was a little test I did. I wanted to see if there was any hard limit on how many frames you can have for animated textures. And from what I tested I wasn't able to find a set amount, I tested up to 159 frames. That one is running at 10 frames per second(but I cut it down greatly, that animation loops only after like 60-70 frames.)
Anyways, turns out like 256x256 is the max size per frame atleast. I tried 512x512 and it wasn't happy about that. I wanted to eventually make a "credits" page to the menu, where I'd have some rolling names of the best and the brightest in this discord ๐ Those who helped me, those who motivated me and those who supported me. And I wanted to make that animated. Which will be really easy I realize.
Turns out you can also stall the animation at a set frame too, so I could literally just do a <delay=X> in the menu to swap to a 2nd item if there ends up being a hard limit on frames
