Also, once you manage to get your project on bintray can you apply for getting it added to jcenter.
That way can people who use gradle just use jcenter() in their repositories, instead of adding your maven repo.

But one thing to keep in mind is, that you can't change the package name. Once you do this will the new package not be on bintray. Had this happen to me twice

There should be a version of PDM that just downloads a file from a git repo. It's really hard to get any of my libraries working on jitpack and there's a whole process to getting it on a maven repo like mavencentral
