im not trying to replace litematica as as solo-builder tool but especially for multiplayer... sharing buildings/overlays, ingame "marketplace" and schematicraft (collab) access, terraforming landscapes, generating shapes (or even 3d models), tracking progress, required material location hints, how to scale builds like farms properly, labels like what biome is required, version control and assignments for builder teams... maybe in the future i might add axiom comparable functionality or a blockbench-like mode but although rn i have a structured plan for the future im in scope creep... and yes no mod is required so the hurdle of getting into it is basically non-existent, you could actually allow an easy place mode and e.g. its future update proof as viaversion with a huge community does a great job.
im hoping future minecraft versions especially with vulkan allow for more performant display entities and offical vanilla shader tp support
