Where do people usually find serious people interested in co running an SMP? Any good Discords, communities, or places where experienced server owners hang out?

Starting to feel impossible to find someone whoโ€™s actually down to build something long term. HelpChat definitely hasnโ€™t worked for me, and BBB hasnโ€™t been much better. I keep getting people with big promises but no real experience compared to me or have the same interest as me, while it may be hard to find someone with the exact same things as me, even a the slightness relation is almost impossible to find.

theres a few reasons why i dont think that thats the right approach

  1. you cant easily capture formatting like blank lines, comment โ€œheadersโ€ and inline comments using annotations
  2. property order - you probably want the serialized config to be in the same order as the configuration interface but this requires reading bytecode since reflection does not guarantee any order
    3.you may want to generate a default configuration that is invalid such as if you want to leave a required property absent (for like connection strings or api keys)

Idk how many heads would be possible in a motd but I assume it'd be at least a hundred, if every server does it and you have like 10 servers in your list, that'd already be more than a thousand requests for just clicking the multiplayer button
