I'm not a fan of the guy mainly because I saw he did a skit where he had someone impersonate MrBeast in his chat (with the name and pfp) and chatted shit about Tyson getting removed from the MrBeast team around the time of the drama. • Religiously track the time they spend on a given project using a some sort of stopclock

Very rarely will a freelancer do a live call with a client as they develop a product (unless maybe if they are doing loads of small products) as it's awful to have a client like that since they more than likely have very limited money and are on a tight budget.

further, 35 EUR/hour is a rate which majority of the servers cannot Pay imo.
Full respect to your skills and rates, but its just that this rate is meant only for large scale servers making immense profits already.

There should be some way so that small scale servers/growing communities can also find developers for them.

Yeah I just had a discussion with someone, it doesn't seem possible on the note that it would require a dedicated GPU which my server isn't offering. I'll leave it up for maybe an extra day or two in case someone wants to try (I'm not very knowledgeable in this area) if someone knows a way how.

@gray gust have seen that am not the only one who kinda dislike the showcase you did. I know that it can be really disappointing to see such reactions and you as the artist wanna hear the opinion, not just hate without any reason.

First of all, I don't directly dislike the work, I can tell that you have already a some kind of skill, however the artwork you have done has quite a bit of mistakes.

First of all, do not make it as detailed as possible. Such over detailed UIs are simply so overwhelming to look at that you don't even understand what it is all together.

Another thing is that you don't really have a theme set. Currently it really looks like 5 different themes put all together which does not make much sense.

Then the colors. You haven't chosen that bad colors, however it's again a mixture of too many of them, which makes it pretty messy. I would personally try to exercise making some more simplistic and more theme set menus or textures. I would be more than opened to give opinions for those too if u are gonna want to hear such stuff.

This is really not meant to hate or flex. I am not really that experienced artist myself, I just do many things, but am not an expert, just trying to spread my opinions that may also help you 🙂

yup, this is a thing that basically only works on HD artworks. As pixelart is literally Abt drawing pixels, you need to do more simple shapes, but you need to play with shading more in order to make an optical illusion of different shapes and effects. As the resolution is too low, the really detailed artworks become so messy that it just does not feel right at all

btw I've just checked his portfolio and he's actually pretty good artist. I guess it's just about understanding the technique difference between the HD and Pixel arts

Create a font with custom spacing (MC offers a space provider for that), calculate the width of the text and apply spaces where necessary

That's how I managed to make my WAILA plugin

I already explained it in detail in the plugin description (most servers with low votes are pay-to-win and only pay to get listed on server lists. This is an alternative for servers that are not pay-to-win and cant’t compete with those p2w servers).

The negative feedback we received came only from developers or server owners; we didn’t get any feedback from players on the servers we tested.

Look, I like the idea because voting in mc is truly nonsense and is an absolute monopoly of shady companies, however forcing players is not the way by making simple features require a vote imo. If you run like, a big 'ol server where people want instant gratification, you'll still have a hard time getting people to vote even this way.

I just think a server list without paid auctions would suffice lol

So, in a way, yes it can only be enabled for certain commands, or if they want, they can just disable the chat feature altogether. Like I said, we tested it on big servers and didn’t have any issues.

Yes, we actually made this as a solution. I’m working on a feature that will reward the player who votes the most each month and will announce it periodically, showing the names of those who voted that day. I’m trying to get people used to it as much as possible.

Hey, not sure if colourblindness is a concern, but wanted to say this is all brown besides the thin border part to me. I feel like it's supposed to be red, if not ignore me. 😅 The lighter border outline looks red and definitely the blocked out chunk in the top left, so wanted to mention 🤔

Oooh, that's easier (the pallete), for the outlined darker shades only the bottom is clearly a red for myself at least, the second one is a maroon I could gather, but the other 2 are very brown.

It feels a bit weird that the icons are not the same resolution. The "kills" sword looks 16x16 for example, while k/d looks 32x32 or more, same goes for kill log
