I'll give you my opinion but first I am kinda confused on what sort of system you're trying to make here
Are you trying to do like gitbook or fandom? Asking because when you say "users" you mean people making wikis on your platform or users reading the wikis? I know it's the people reading but it just feels weird for a wiki to have the sort of monetization system where you pay the provider similar to youtube premium
Because you'd be visiting (ideally) wiki.example.com instead of your-platform.com/example-wiki if you know what I mean
Wikis will give the impression that the host of the content is the owner, so a subscription would feel like it'd be going to the owner
The only wiki that does something similar is fandom and fuck fandom, what a horrible platform

As for the original question, I personally view wikis different from other types of websites, they are supposed to give you information and that's about it, ads are just annoying when looking at things like a wiki (well ads are annoying in general but you get what i mean)
Ads like modirnth are okay for pretty much any other kind of website where you're constantly browsing between places instead of spending time on a single page reading something important while a stupid add is flickering over and over and being distracting

I've always had the "ground loop" issues when buying microphones/dacs. I recently bought a new mic/dac combo but this time the mic sounds fine through USB but if I plug in the dac I get the "electrical wir"/buzz audio. I bought a powered USB hub to negate this yet I am still getting this buzzing audio.
Any recommendations for good c -> a USB isolators? I found a few but $60+ seems expensive for what the hub should have done.
If the DAC is plugged in at all (even with the port turned off on the hub) the noise is audible.
