If it's made by a single dev - he needs to extensively test the application to make sure it's bug-free, make sure it's not vulnerable to N amount of attacks and in the end find a reliable place to host it. Pre-built solutions often have teams of multiple people, UI/IX, devs, testers, etc., to make sure the application is production ready.

Loads better then most realize especially once setup properly. I agree with Lee on its hard todo much else without loads of trial and error. And for example the server I manage, it costs about 10k+- a month between paying for people (devs/managers), server expenses (paying for domains, paying for slots in the data center), tebex fees, etc.

I’ve been trying to look for other outlets but icl, most just go back to back to crates since those are the best outlet we’ve experienced, and are the most consistent. (Again, once balanced right)
