Basically Inertia are adding the ability to:

• Load requests async (right now if you click a page, then click another, whatever page loads first is what takes you. Rather than the order)
• Polling (hit an endpoint repeatedly, saves webhooks for most stuff, can also slow down when uou go to another tab)
• WhenVisible (only load that data from backend when it’s visible in the browser)
• InfiniteScrolling (self explanatory)
• Prefetching (Prefetch the page when they hover over, so so useful!)
• Deferred Props (Only load the data when the page itself loads, so useful!)

Then there’s a new Concurrency facade which lets you run multiple bits of code at the same time in separate processes

And a defer method to delay running code until the response is sent, useful for stuff that takes ages

So truth be told, I’ve kept it quiet for ages but hey I’ll be public about it.

Analyse was very steady pre-Tebex in terms of users and revenue, when Tebex bought we skyrocketed in growth. We got practically every big server using it. It was because Tebex made the product free.

Then when I got laid off I took Analyse back but I was severely burnt out. I couldn’t cope with all the amount of support needed, nor needing to buy more expensive hardware ($300/mo).

So I just said f it and closed it down immediately. I feel better mentally about doing that

I still don’t regret it, the amount of support messages I was getting, and large guys wanting features and such, I just couldn’t take it, especially for a product I got 0 $ from

I’m super thankful for Tebex though, they gave me an opportunity that really boosted Analyse, gave me more visibility and I learnt a lot there

Doing all that and then also serving large creators for free, just killed me inside

Looking back at this, I probably have it wrong here, because 100/6*3.5 assumes that there is a 0 for 0% (6 = 100%, 0 = 0%) when 1 is the lowest possible.
Tho, I have no idea if 100/5*3.5 is actually more accurate....
Because if I do 100/5*1 does it give 20%, which obviously isn't right...
