Chargebacks on spigot automatically remove the license. How ever I've reported users for reselling with the same email they used to purchase resources on spigot and the user was not banned. The user also did not have his license removed from my resource. Spigot does nothing to help its authors.

saw this and totally forgot to answer, technically, according to mods, that would be allowed cause it's displaying work the person has done, minecraft server trailers could also be seen as an ad lol, yet they are meant to showcase the work they have done, so the video is looked at, not it's intention. Same thing applies in theory if you make a video showcasing your plugin and post the link to it too, in theory, that's allowed.

TLDR: WHMCS Addon Developers are just as bad as Pterodactyl Addon developers. Stupid theme devs left some pfp changer code in (even though they were already using Gravatar) and the changer code was exploited to upload and run PHP.

30+ other hosts were breached with the same code.

Yes and no. WHMCS is secure as a platform (they do loads of security audits) but it has a lot of bugs... as for the alternatives, there isn't as much of a 'community' where there is loads of addons, etc to use/reference.

I run several discord bots, a modded server, 2 paper servers and 1 velocity server, and 2 databases

and the only "bad" things I have experienced is on the modded server, it sometimes can't keep up

RoseChat removes system chat messages too, so yeah, I think it doesn't work on 100% of messages but for most of them it works
